💥A good mobility & strength training program is absolutely required to mediate stubborn joint pain at the source!
🏃Movement (of any kind) is medicine! Every joint in your body is on a Use it or Lose it basis. So don't let those hinges get rusty!
🦴Analgesics are fine for a temporary fix, but they don't do anything but mask the main issues!

⚠️Avoiding weightlifting to prevent joint pain is like avoiding eating to prevent diabetes/heart disease. It's not about weightlifting. It's about HOW you're lifting!
💪🏽Resistance training is integral for building strong bones and tissues that make up our joints. But there is some risk when working out WITHOUT proper coaching or guidance.
🏃‍♂️ Our body MECHANICS and INTENTIONALITY of how we move is far more important than how heavy or fast we can move weight. If you have joint pain with certain lifts, find a regression that doesn't cause pain and work within YOUR range of motion, eventually progressing to more advanced lifts once you've mastered it!

💥 Back Pain, specifically low back pain, is one of the most common types of chronic pain. With over 70% of American adults claiming to deal with some kind of back pain, you think we'd know the cause.
🏋‍♂️I'll tell you for one thing, it isn't because 70% of American adults are lifting weights. It's because we have created a culture of sedentary (usually seated) beings.
🪑 I'm not saying after a hard day, you can't take a load off and throw your feet up. But what I am saying is prolonged sitting places tension on the low back, compresses the spine, & forces load onto muscles that don't have the capacity to support us in that position.
🚶‍♂️If you have to sit for long periods of time, get up for 5-10minites every hour to give your spine a chance to relax and be in its strongest, most natural position.
💪🏽Exercises like Deadlifts, Reverse Hypertensions, Good Mornings, & Squats have all shown to be hugely beneficial in increasing the capacity of these muscles.
