I hear this from time to time — and while I’m endlessly grateful for where this path has led me, luck isn’t what got me here.

In my 20s, I had a dozen different ideas of what my career would be. Music major. Opera singer. School teacher. Physical therapist. I kept going to college because it was what I was expected to do, not because I had clarity. After years of trying to figure out what I was actually chasing, I finally enrolled in massage school.

Even after passing my boards, I still didn’t have a perfect plan — but I did know I wanted to work for myself and serve the clients I felt deeply connected to: athletes, chronic pain clients, and anyone navigating injury.

So I worked two jobs. I put every dollar I could into continuing education. I opened my schedule to any and every day clients wanted to come in. I worked CrossFit events, weightlifting meets, networked with chiropractors, gym owners, and PTs. ✨ I didn’t wait for the stars to align✨ — I built my own momentum. I invested thousands into growing my skill set and expanding what I could offer.

And now, 8.5 years later, I get to make a living doing what I absolutely love. None of the careers I explored before this ever sparked this kind of passion.

Through all the chaos, I’m grateful 🙏🏽 — for the clients who trusted me, the lessons that shaped me, and the growth that came from every day I chose not to give up. 🥰🤍
