UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry

UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry The University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry The Rosenberg School of Optometry is located near the Medical Center area of San Antonio.

Our class size is approximately 68 students. The campus consists of multimedia classrooms, technologically-advanced clinical laboratories, vision science and clinical libraries, study areas, student services space, faculty and administrative offices, conference rooms, and other Optometry teaching facilities. The School offers two state of the art clinical facilities including the Eye & Vision Care Clinic on-site of the main facility and one which will be located on the Eastside of San Antonio. The Eastside clinic will be a multidisciplinary teaching environment equipped to provide comprehensive health care to undeserved populations. UIWRSO is the only Optometry School in the United States associated with a faith-based institution.

⭐UIWRSO Student Spotlight⭐

Caitlin Siekawitch completed her undergraduate studies at Gonzaga University. She is in her 3rd year of the Doctor of Optometry Program at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry.

Caitlin Siekawitch is one of our go‑to SGA leaders and a true asset to the student community. Known for her positive attitude and dependable leadership, Caitlin is always willing to step in, support others, and help keep things running smoothly.

She is an active member of the Trooper Tuesdays clinic group, where she consistently shows dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Originally from Wyoming, Caitlin brings a unique perspective shaped by her experience attending college in Spokane, WA. Her background and experiences have helped her develop a thoughtful, collaborative approach that makes her a standout among her peers.

We’re grateful to have Caitlin as part of our SGA and clinic community and appreciate everything she contributes to making our program stronger.
