Pride Leadership staff, Pauline Z. and Jodi Lyn L., volunteered at the Floresville Interagency Council's Thanksgiving Senior Lunch on 11/19/2025. What a blessing it was to be able to share comfort, fellowship and a delicious meal with the community. May everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

On Thursday, 11/13 - Pride PHC Svcs helped with Sponsorship for the Northeast Senior Assistance (N.E.S.A.) Fall Fest 2025 Volunteers of the Year Awards event. Pride Leadership, Andres C. and Pauline Z. shared information about services and helped with serving food to all of the seniors in attendance. Many of the guest came dressed to impress and there was a wonderful "sweater contest". Pat Ogle, Exec. Director for N.E.S.A did a fantastic job of heading up the organization of the event ... and the N.E.S.A. volunteers' generosity and kindness were on full display, as they assisted with meal service, silent auction and getting many attendees to the event with their FREE RIDE program. We look forward to helping support N.E.S.A. in their continued efforts and to be part of the festivities next year. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

The PRIDE PHC Team and some of our local remote HCPT Sister Agency Team members joined together in "commensality" and to give Thanks and Praise. Pride Team brought delicious sides to go along with our main course ... and we had a wonderful DESSERT CONTEST - with the winner being Vanessa S., with her HUMMINGBIRD CUPCAKES. Kryselda M. got a prize for her hearty CARROT CAKE, as did Rhea C., LVN with her COCONUT MACAROONS. Thank you all, for sharing your gratitude and your cooking talents ... means a whole lot to be able to stop and breath ... and just be with each other. Feeling fortunate to work with so many caring and generous people. May this be the start of a positively memorable Holiday Season ...

Pride PHC Svcs Field Supervisor, Pauline Z., had the distinct pleasure of Volunteering with the Broken Warrior Angels, VA and Community Event at the First Baptist Church today. Along with San Antonio Mayor Gina Ortiz, Pauline shared fellowship and conversation with some of our community members who usually do not have the opportunity to sit and enjoy a meal and companionship. Pauline relayed to the Pride Team that she felt so humbled and honored, being present for some of those she got to visit with ... and just support and encourage them for the short time they were together. It inspired Pauline to share a couple of inspirational quotes ... and to remind us, just small gestures of kindness can become a memorable blessing in someone's life. May you have many blessings and reasons to give thanks.
