The SLEW Wellness Center provides no-cost aftercare services to improve the quality of life for uninsured, underinsured and low income women recovering from and/or undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation treatments. The SLEW Wellness Center program offers a holistic package of FREE services. Our services are provided under one roof in a welcoming, caring setting. SLEW provides the most comprehensive program for after-treatment cancer care in the Bexar County area.

🦃 Thanksgiving Big Group Session 🦃
We had an amazing time at our Thanksgiving session! A huge thank you to Takisha Durst from Metro Health for sharing healthy holiday tips, serving a delicious quinoa salad, and donating H-E-B gift cards for our raffle.
A special thank you to the Smith sisters from Medicare Pro for helping our ladies learn how to register for Medicare and for sharing information about their services.
After a tasty turkey lunch, everyone headed home with two Mary Kay goodie bags!
We’re so grateful to everyone who made this day so special. 🧡🍂

We had an amazing big group session yesterday! A huge thank you to Javier Briones and Giancarlo Rodriguez from Methodist Healthcare Ministries for sharing valuable resources and showing our clients some great exercises! 💪🏽 A special shoutout to Beatriz Hernandez from the San Antonio Food Bank for teaching a new anti-inflammatory series and making a delicious shirazi salad for our clients! 🥗
To top it off, our amazing counselor Ursula Ramirez guided our ladies through a soothing meditation session. 🧘‍♀️
