Meet Dental Divas™️ member spotlight of the month for January 2024, Alesia Roland RDH, BSDH!!
Alesia Roland, a 2007 graduate from UT Health Science Center San Antonio, holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Recognized for her commitment to community service, she received the Community Award during her time at UTHSCSA. Alesia's passion for helping others led her to volunteer with organizations such as Texas Mission on Mercy, the Christian Dental Clinic, CMDA Outreach at the Church Under the Bridge, and the CMDA Refugee Clinic.
For the past 16 years, Alesia has dedicated herself to Graham and McCabe Family Dentistry, evolving into the lead hygienist following Kathy Graham's retirement after 52 years of service. A relentless pursuit of excellence is evident in Alesia's commitment to ongoing education, currently working towards her fellowship in dental hygiene through the ADHA. Last year alone, she completed 52 hours of continuing education, accumulating an impressive total of 292 hours over her career.
While dentistry is a significant part of her life, Alesia's greatest blessings lie in her family and faith. Married to Adam for over 17 years, they share the joys of raising two sons, Ryan (15) and Van (13). Juggling soccer, cross country, and boy scouts, Alesia values every moment, cherishing her role as a present and engaged mother. In her rare moments of leisure, she finds solace in reading, gardening, and fishing.
Congratulations, Alesia!!!
We appreciate your loyalty and devotion to the dental hygiene profession and our local community!

Meet Dental Divas™️ member spotlight, Kristy Leos-Chen, the newest owner of Dental Partners! 🦷🤩
Kristy is no stranger to the dental staffing world. She is the owner and founder of Dental Force, a local dental staffing agency covering the Greater Houston area. Dental Force was the very first agency in Houston to pay dental temporaries directly as W-2 employees. It was apparent that there was a need in the area to educate others about the employee/contract laborer concept as it applies to dentistry. Dental Force is a longtime supporter of TDHA, the Greater Houston Dental Hygiene Society and the Star of the South Dental Meeting.
Kristy has her BBA & MBA from Southern Methodist University and previously worked in Corporate Finance prior to establishing Dental Force in 2012. For the last decade, she has been educating dental professionals about tax implications relating to temping, as well as helping them find temporary work and permanent positions.
Since the inception of Dental Force, Kristy has been a proud member of the Texas Dental Placement Network. TDPN (www.tdpn.org) is a network of locally owned dental staffing agencies located in major cities across the state of Texas. Kristy has had the privilege of being able to network and gain knowledge from amazing women who were pioneers of the dental staffing industry. Many thanks to Kim and Louise fortheir service to the dental community and for sharing their experience and expertise over the years through the TDPN.
Kristy is looking forward to getting to know everyone in the San Antonio area and connecting with both dental professionals and dental offices. We are looking into some exciting updates to our operations. Kristy and Bess are very excited to take Dental Partners into this next chapter and look forward to serving the San Antonio dental community for many years to come.

Meet Dental Divas™️ member spotlight, Cynthia King!!! 🙌🏼
Cynthia is a proud country girl raised in Oklahoma who has dedicated her life to the dental profession. She began her education at Amarillo College, first studying Dental Assisting and then Dental Hygiene, earning her dental hygiene license in 1977—yes, that’s not a typo! With decades of experience, Cynthia’s career is a testament to the longevity, flexibility, and impact of the dental hygiene profession.

Throughout her career, Cynthia has worked in a wide variety of settings, including single-doctor practices, group practices, and within the prison system through UTMB. After state budget cuts led her away from that role, she eventually found her way back to public service with the Texas Department of State Health Services Oral Health Improvement Program, where she has proudly served for 17½ years.

Cynthia is passionate about her work and deeply values the opportunity to provide preventive oral health services to children across Regions 8 and 11. She credits dental hygiene as a profession that allowed her to maintain an exceptional work-life balance—one that enabled her to rarely miss her son’s school events thanks to a family-oriented employer and thoughtful scheduling. She considers that balance a true blessing. 🥰

Cynthia believes one of the greatest strengths of dental hygiene is the many paths it offers, allowing professionals to find their own unique niche. While her travel schedule occasionally prevents her from attending monthly meetings, she looks forward to participating as often as possible and staying connected with the community she values so deeply.

Congratulations, Cynthia!! 🥳👏🎊🎉
We appreciate your loyalty and devotion to the dental hygiene profession and our local dental community!
