The Bee Award in healthcare is a recognition program that honors staff members outside of nursing who consistently go above and beyond in their roles to positively impact patients and families. It acknowledges those who demonstrate exceptional care, teamwork, and compassion, often those who are not registered nurses. The award aims to celebrate the contributions of these individuals and create a positive and supportive healthcare environment.

This week, we celebrate Health Information Professional Week by recognizing our incredible Health Information Management (HIM) professionals. Who are behind the scene heroes at our facility. Their hard work every day helps to support our patients, providers and facility. Our incredible HIM team ensures that our patient records are scanned in a timely manner, accurate, and accessible. They assist mothers with creating their newborns birth certificate. Their strengths include: attention to detail, commitment to excellence, compassion and dedication to patient care. These behind the scene heroes make a huge difference every single day. Our HIM team members are truly the most trusted individuals due to all the sensitive and personal health information they manage every day!

Egg-stra cute new born hopped into her first Easter season, bringing joy and cheer to the Mother-Baby and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Methodist Hospital | Westover Hills. Surrounded by their favorite peeps — parents and hospital staff — hoppy little babies brought more joy than a basket full of candy, showcasing pure cuteness and Easter spirit.
