Please join the Alamo Empire, Inc. on Saturday, 29 November 2025 for the “Oh, The Holidays Are Among Us” Show & Auction at 2015 Place (2015 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78212). The social hour will be from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the show will start at 9:00 PM. The show will be emceed by Emperor 29 of The Imperial Court de Fort Worth/Arlington Jeffery McGuire & Miss Sin City America 2022 Alizae York Brooks.

Today we honor the legacy of “Papa Bear” through our SAAF bears 🐻. As we prepare to celebrate 40 years of the San Antonio AIDS Foundation ❤️💛💙, our message stays simple: we are here for you. We face every challenge with the strength of a bear 💪🐻 and welcome everyone with the warmth of a bear hug 🤗🐻. The name “Papa Bear,” given by the community, became a symbol of our care, strength, and mission to serve.

October 15 is National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day. This day highlights the impact of HIV in Hispanic and Latinx communities and promotes testing, treatment, and ending stigma. SAAF supports people living with HIV to start and stay on treatment to stay healthy and undetectable.
