Autumn Leaves of Stone Oak resident and World War II veteran Reginold celebrated a very special 101st birthday this week thanks to some truly wonderful folks including 15 airmen from Lackland Air Force Base, Greg Drummond from Heart to Heart Hospice, and of course, our very own Life Engagement Manager extraordinaire, Alma, and the entire Stone Oak team who helped make this day so special! We also want to thank Sarah Acosta from KSAT 12 & KSAT.com who did this really lovely story on the big celebration! Happy Birthday, dear Reginold! We thank you for your many years of service and we hope you had an amazing day! 🎉🎈

Check out this fun reminiscing and sensory activity we call "Farmer's Market"! Alma laid out different fruits and vegetables from which the residents could choose. After they were done shopping, residents talked about the origin of the fruits and veggies, if they had ever grown any of them, how to cut it, and what each is used for! Who says you can't play with your food 😉

Dottie and Jane helped bake cupcakes for the local firemen to show their appreciation as a Random Act of Kindness! We can't thank our first responders enough for all they do and hope these treats brought a smile to their faces!
