Former Cameroonian striker Achille Emana gave his point of view on the current situation of the Indomitable Lions . This happened after Cameroon's 2-0 defeat to Uzbekistan.

This loss prompted Achille Emana to say the following:

“In my humble opinion, we shouldn't have separated from Antonio Conceiçao so quickly. You know, we have to stop with this narrative of always wanting to change coaches as soon as there are no results.

Yes, it is true that he didn't win the AFCON. But at least, with him we felt that there was a soul in this team. He had nevertheless managed to create a friendly atmosphere within the group and that is the important thing especially for the rest of the events which have to take place.

It is true that there is also the desire to have a Cameroonian as head coach, but still it would be necessary to choose the right Cameroonian coach . The right person fit for the job because Rigo, with all the respect I have for him, must not lie to himself, he is not up to the task. Of course he qualified us for the World Cup but I say frankly that we do not understand what is happening because since he took this team, we do not feel that he is imposing his mark on this team, he hasn't found his 11th player yet! While Tony had already created something and everyone knows it.

Afterall, if you do a bad preparation,you will go and sow terror at the World Cup! But for what I saw this morning, if we go there ( to the World Cup) with the same state of mind, we will run straight into a cat∆str0phy."

A touching photo sent to me by Lucinda from Wales. On the right is Terry, who was The Queens head groom at Windsor Castle. He is pictured standing with Carltonlima Emma, Her Majesty’s Fell Pony. If you look closely you will see HM head scarf laying over the saddle.

Terry is the wonderful man who arranged the gift of one of our canes to Queen Elizabeth II.
