Update to Vaccine Information:
Understandably, many people are waiting anxiously to find out when they can get their COVID vaccine and where- this interactive map may be useful. It shows where the vaccine is being offered or will be offered in the future. It is important to note that in accordance with guidance from the state of Texas and current availability, sites may not yet be offering vaccines to the general public or even to all priority groups. We are eagerly anticipating when the vaccine will be easily accessible to everyone who would like to receive it!

To Our Family of Patients,

At Stone Oak Family Practice, our highest priority has always been, and continues to be, our patients’ health and safety. For this reason, I have been frequently and regularly testing myself for COVID-19. All of my tests have come back negative until this Saturday, when I was very surprised to have been informed that my last test was positive. As of today, none of our staff have tested positive and we are continuing to test them out of an abundance of caution.

I am completely asymptomatic and continue testing myself regularly for both negativity and antibody immunity and protection in the hopes I will soon be able to get back to what I love- practicing medicine for our wonderful community of patients, as strong and as safe as ever.

Our amazing nurse practitioner, Jennifer, will be in the office to see patients until I return. I have the utmost confidence in our nurse practitioner to handle all scheduled office visits, while I will personally be available for all telemedicine appointments. Additionally, please be assured that my staff will still be on hand to take your calls and handle your refills.

As an added precaution, our office has been thoroughly sterilized this weekend, in addition to our daily sterilization techniques. We will continue to strictly adhere to the isolation precautions outlined by the CDC for our care setting.

The situation around us is still evolving, so we thank you for your patience with us and we will keep you posted on any new developments.
