Mrs. Garza had this bench installed where many San Antonio families will be able to enjoy it, near "The Last Three", the rhino sculpture by Gillie and Marc Schattner.

Thank you to all of our friends and family for joining us to celebrate the life of Dr. Garza yesterday, both in person and online! We are so grateful for your support.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Dr. Joseph Garza. He will forever be remembered by those who had the honor to know him especially those families whose lives he touched.
Dr Garza peacefully passed away Tuesday July 27th surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. Dr. Garza will be missed but our memories of his love and commitment to helping others will forever live on.
Thank you all for your prayers and kind words throughout this difficult time.

Every day for more than 35 years, I have shared in your struggles, sorrows, and joys. Together, we have faced some of the most difficult situations you can ever experience, prayed for miracles, and created happiness beyond measure. I have cried, celebrated, and cared for
you with all that I am.
After recently being diagnosed with stage IV gastric cancer, I will be retiring to focus on my treatment and spend time with my wife, children, and grandchildren. The Advanced Fertility Center will permanently close on October 31. Please know that everything we have gone through together inspires me during this very difficult time. You have shown me how to face fear and sorrow with bravery, to take comfort in the people who love you, and to have hope for the future. I have never underestimated the power of faith, and I see its results all around me.

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine states that endometriosis can be found in up to 50 percent of infertile women and patients with endometriosis typically suffer from infertility in about 30 to 50 percent of cases.
