Now there is some glimmer of hope. COVID-19 infection rate has declined significantly. We anticipate that life will get back to as normal as pre COVID-19. We should still take safety precautions so we get to business as usual soon.

We join the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center - Donor Pavilion in encouraging individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 to donate their plasma. Although there is no approved treatment for COVID-19, research indicates that plasma from these individuals may benefit patients currently combatting the virus. Qualified donors can contact the Center for an appointment.
