A great idea for the holidays!

Here's a sweet holiday idea: made-with-love , Gluten-Free Chocolate Truffles. They're the perfect hostess gift and will dazzle guests when you entertain. Enlist the kids. They'll love rolling the chocolatey balls, then dipping them in coatings, from coconut to sprinkles. Recipe creator Alisa Fleming suggests delicious variations, too. Originally developed in Europe, allergy drops are the β€œnew frontier” for allergen immunotherapy treatments in the U.S. Allergy drops have been used in Europe for over 30 years and significantly refined over the past 25 years. Allergy drops have shown excellent benefit when used in patients who are most affected by a limited number of allergens, perhaps 10-15 relevant sensitivities. Allergy drops offer a safe, convenient and effective option for patients who suffer with allergic symptoms from a variety of pollen, mold, animal dander or dust allergens and who have not responded sufficiently to avoidance measures or over-the-counter medications.

Today we honor and salute our own Dr. Hallett and his fellow USAF veterans, along with all veterans from every branch of service. Freedom isn't free, and we appreciate your bravery and sacrifice!

Locally, we congratulate Dr. Krista Shaw and Dr. Curtis Pacheco, 2 Fellows-in-Training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center (Dr. Hallett's alma mater). They won the 2025 Fellows-in-Training (FIT) Bowl in Orlando, an academic competition that is held each year at the annual meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

This is a highly prestigious honor and carries a lot of weight within the allergy community! As a graduate of that program, Dr. Hallett extends his "congrats" to these current Fellows!
