Dear Patients,

After 22 years of practice, Kinetx Rehab will be closing its doors on 12/31/22. Over all these
years we have had the privilege of serving both patients and physicians in San Mateo County. We
will miss our loyal patrons and the sense of fulfillment we have had in being able to provide them
with the treatment they required.

Over these years we have had many employees who have gone on to become practicing PTs,
and we are proud to have supported them, and been instrumental in providing our profession with
these quality therapists. Our office was always a place in which there was lively conversation and
exchanges, along with therapeutic interventions, and we will miss this environment.

We will complete the treatment regimens of those patients currently in treatment but are no
longer accepting new patients. If there is a need to continue therapy beyond the end of December,
we suggest you contact your referring physician for recommendations. If we can be of any service
during this time of transition, do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for all these years!

Regards
Karen Meyer

Our Story

Kinetx was founded by two physical therapists over 20 years ago, who combined, had over 45 years of experience in the field. They felt that the rehab treatment offered to patients by hospitals and other larger clinics was often “cookbook”, rushed, methodical and impersonally managed. For that reason the two felt they needed to develop a better approach.

Kinetx is focused on the patient-therapist relationship. The clinic works to give each patient individual attention. We foster an environment in which each person’s needs are heard and addressed by a qualified physical therapist. This approach is the foundation of Kinetx Rehab and is how we practice to this day.
