You feel like you’re on a boat.

Standing up makes you nauseous. Turning your head triggers vertigo that lasts hours, or days.

You’ve been told it’s BPPV, Ménière’s, or vestibular migraines.
You’ve done the Epley maneuver over and over. Sometimes it helps… until it doesn’t. And it keeps coming back.

Here’s what’s often missed 👇
It may not be your ear. It may be your NECK.

Your brain relies on three systems to know where you are in space:
• Inner ear (vestibular)
• Eyes (visual)
• Spine & joints (proprioception)

Your upper neck (C1–C2) sends more positional information to your brain than anywhere else in your body.

When the upper neck is imbalanced, your brain gets conflicting signals.
Your eyes say one thing. Your inner ear says another.
Your brain panics, and the world spins.

That same area affects the brainstem, balance centers, blood flow to the inner ear, and the vagus nerve (hello nausea).

Upper cervical adjustments restore accurate signals from the neck to the brain, so balance systems can work together again.

“When should I get my baby checked?”
As soon as possible.

Your baby’s first year is the most neurologically active time of their entire life. Their nervous system is learning how to regulate digestion, sleep, immunity, movement, and emotional regulation.

Birth, even the “easy” ones, is incredibly physical. The pressure and twisting during delivery can create tension in a baby’s delicate spine, especially the upper neck, which may interfere with nervous system communication.

This can show up as:

🚨 That “sciatica” everyone keeps diagnosing you with?
It’s probably not sciatica.

True sciatica is caused by nerve compression in the lumbar spine, often from a disc herniation or spinal stenosis.
And here’s the truth… it’s actually pretty rare.

👉 What we see 90% of the time is REFERRAL PAIN that feels like sciatica but comes from a completely different source:

✨ SI Joint Dysfunction
When the joint where your pelvis meets your spine is misaligned or inflamed, it can refer pain down the leg, shooting, burning, numbness, same symptoms, different cause.

✨ Piriformis Syndrome
The piriformis muscle sits directly on top of the sciatic nerve. When it’s tight or spasming (often from pelvic imbalance), it compresses the nerve.
This is a muscle issue, not a nerve root problem.

✨ Pelvic Imbalance
Pregnancy, falls, repetitive movements, or poor posture can all create pelvic imbalance, placing pressure on nerves and sending pain down the leg.

From day one, Hudson has brought so much light into our practice 💫

This sweet 10-year-old has been under care with Dr. G and is now officially on wellness, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey with him and his amazing mama, Meghan ✨

Hudson came to us navigating cerebral palsy and visual impairment, with challenges around neck and arm tightness, sleep, digestion, and muscle recovery from all the therapies his body works so hard through. Your frozen shoulder isn’t actually a shoulder problem.

You’ve been told it’s “adhesive capsulitis” and that your options are PT, a cortisone shot, or waiting 1–2 years for it to resolve.

But no one answers the real question:
Why did your shoulder freeze in the first place?
