A huge heartfelt thank you for your patience while I was away attending to personal business. I’m so happy to be back home with our beautiful Body Balance community! And I’m ready to help you heal injury, feel amazing, and realign. 🙏

✨ Weekly Challenge ✨
Contrast Therapy: Hot & Cold for Healing

Did you know alternating hot and cold water in the shower can boost circulation, speed recovery, and energize your whole body? This “pumping effect” reduces soreness, eases pain, and even gives your immune system and mental clarity a boost.

A great alternative to ice cold plunges that may not be great for over-taxed adrenals, stress conditions, or autoimmune disease particularly in women. ❄️

💧 Try This 5–10 Minute Contrast Shower:

1️⃣ Start hot – relax muscles for 3–5 minutes.

2️⃣ Switch to cold or cool – 30–60 seconds (baby steps welcome!).

3️⃣ Repeat 3–5 cycles.

4️⃣ Always end with cold or cool (ease your way into cold.)

I’ve loved the powerful effects of contrast therapy since 2001, who’s in to try or revisit this game-changer recovery technique?🌿

Contrast Therapy: Hot & Cold for Healing

Feeling like you’re carrying the weight of the world? Let’s release all that tension, allow me to help. 💪

✨ Sink a Yamuna ball (either a silver, gold or pearl color) into your armpit - directly into the pits, where we find gold!
✨ Breathe deeply + let your body sink in.
✨ Feel the release through your shoulders, neck & jaw.

Enjoy your more properly aligned shoulder joint!

🌟 Bonus: place a Yamuna ball on your breastbone + collarbones for quick “tech neck” relief. Take 3-5 breaths at each placement.

Just a few minutes a day = lighter, freer shoulders 🙌

☄️WEEKLY CHALLENGE: Free Your Shoulders & Neck

Tight shoulders? Stiff neck? Let’s fix that. 💪

This week we’re utilizing the Yamuna Body Rolling Technique in order to:

✨ Release shoulder tension
✨ Create space in the neck
✨ Improve function and range of motion

Lie on your side, place the ball under your middle delts, breathe deep and wait - this pause is where the magic happens. Maintain depth and gently roll from side-to-side, using cross-fiber motion.
Then slowly roll down the arm to free stuck fibrotic tissue, creating true length, and reset your alignment.

🔥 Bonus: Notice how your posture naturally lifts when tension melts away.

Happy Tuesday my friends!

I’m told this little sweetie is obsessed with Yamuna Balls as her favorite toys. 🥰 SO cute!!! This is fantastic because our whole community feels the same. We go nowhere without a Yamuna ball or ‘foot waker’…travel, car, workspace, home.
We roll specific routines before our favorite activities, and afterwards in order to enhance performance and then assist our bodies in repair. We erase the damage of all the work and play in our bodies.

But make no mistake…this is not randomly rolling around on a ball. We believe the education and proper use is KEY in permanently resolving pain and injury! No temporary nor ‘bandaid’ fixed here! 💪
