Another very successful AAO in Orlando!

This year, we put together a filming crew to capture Dr. Tiago Prata providing a very comprehensive demonstration on cyclophotocoagulation with the LIGHTLas 810 to treat moderate to advance glaucoma. In addition, Dr. Nir Shoham-Hazon did an educational overview of the LIGHTLas SLT deux-V, and expressed his gratitude for increasing a better clinic workflow and providing the best patient care in his practice.

We also had great meetings with all of our distribution partners, and excellent demonstrations from our team members at the booth for the products that we showcased:

The events held included:
1. Informal group discussion focused on SLT with hands-on demonstration and troubleshooting with devices.
2. Theoretical lecture that included up to 100 ophthalmologists

The activities of these meetings have significantly contributed to expanding interest in LIGHTMED’s laser technology and have helped reinforce clinical confidence in the companies application.

The Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology mission is to prevent blindness through lifelong education and cultural exchange among ophthalmologists in the Western Hemisphere.
