Many MFT students rely on federal loans to afford graduate education. But the Department of Education's recent move to exclude behavioral health graduate programs from its list of professional degrees would make it harder for students -- especially those from low-income and underrepresented backgrounds -- to enter the profession.

Fewer graduates means fewer MFTs available to meet growing mental health and social service needs.

You can make a difference for students by urging the DOE to include behavioral health as a professional degree!

Get ready to pack your bags for San Diego - our Annual Conference is just over three months away! πŸ’Ό

This year, we’re thrilled to feature Dr. Michael Dow as our opening keynote speaker. 🎀 πŸ‘‹

Dr. Mike is a New York Times bestselling author and has written eight books, including The Ketamine Breakthrough and The Brain Fog Fix. His workshop, Trauma-Informed Psychotherapies as Mind–Body Medicine, explores the next frontier of trauma treatment -- one that recognizes suffering not only as a psychological experience, but as a full-body imprint.

You'll learn how YOU, as an MFT, are uniquely positioned to deliver cutting-edge modalities such as EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, clinical hypnosis, and somatic therapies that represent the most advanced work in our field. This is the future of psychotherapy: precise, embodied, neuroscience-informed care that truly heals!

Have you signed up for the Annual Conference yet? πŸ—“οΈRegister by the end of the month to snag early bird rates before they’re gone!
