Millennials let’s talk about friendship grief.

You know that quiet heartbreak when a friendship ends?
No big fight, no closure - just distance.
And suddenly the person who knew everything about you… feels like a stranger.

It’s confusing because no one taught us how to grieve friendships.
We were told we just “grow apart” like it’s normal, and it is.
but that doesn’t make the loss any less painful.

It deserves space, compassion, and healing.

In therapy, we can explore what that friendship meant, what it awakened in you,
and how to rebuild trust and belonging again starting with yourself.

You don’t have to move on alone.

For those of us who grew up mistaking silence for safety, emotional unavailability growing up was mistaken for “strength” or “discipline.”
But underneath that, there’s often a younger version of you still longing for softness, for someone to really see you, to hold space for what you feel, not just what you do.

Therapy becomes a place to relearn that.
To reconnect with the parts of you that had to be strong too soon.
To remind yourself that love doesn’t have to be earned - it can simply be received. 🤍

You’re not alone in this healing.
🕊️ Save this if it resonates or share it with someone who’s learning to feel safe again. Click the link in the bio to schedule an appointment.

Hey millennials! let’s talk about grief for a minute.
Grief isn’t just about losing someone you love. It can come after a breakup, a big life change, or even the loss of who you used to be. And while everyone tells you to “stay strong” or “move on,” deep down you might just feel... stuck, tired, or disconnected.
Here’s the truth: there’s no timeline for grief, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
✨Let yourself feel what you feel. There’s no “right way” to grieve.
✨Reach out when you need to. Talking about it doesn’t make you weak - it’s actually how healing begins.
✨Do one small thing to care for yourself. Rest, a walk, or even just breathing intentionally counts.
✨Ask for support. Therapy can help you make sense of what feels too heavy to hold on your own.
If you’ve been carrying something that’s hard to name, we’re here to help you unpack it - at your pace, in a space that feels safe and supportive. 🌱

Hey 30 to 40 somethings! Has life not gone the way you were told? You got that degree but not the dream job. The “one day” version of yourself never happened. Sometimes we grieve futures, not people.

Grief can hide behind words like burnout, unmotivated, or lost.

If you’re sitting with the weight of “this wasn’t supposed to be my life,”
therapy can help you name it and start again.

🩵 If this hit home, maybe it’s time to talk about it and therapy is a safe place to start. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Some grief doesn’t look like loss. It looks like silence.

The silence of never hearing “I’m proud of you.”

For many, that absence becomes a quiet ache carried into adulthood. A belief that love and approval must be earned. We chase validation, overperform, and still feel like it’s never enough.

This is grief too. Not for what happened, but for what never did.

Healing begins when we start offering ourselves what we’ve always needed to hear:

“I’m proud of you.”

You were always worthy of those words.

Hey millennials navigating the grief of the parents you got versus the parents you needed

You’re not broken for still feeling the ache of unmet needs.
Many adults find themselves grieving the love, safety, or emotional connection they wished they had growing up even while maintaining a relationship with their parents today.

You may notice patterns like:
• Feeling guilty for setting boundaries
• Struggling to express emotions without fear of rejection
• Seeking validation from people who can’t give it
• Or feeling a deep sense of loss without being able to name it

This is what unacknowledged grief can look like. It’s the silent mourning of what never was and the hope for what could have been.

In therapy, we can begin to understand where these patterns come from, name the grief beneath them, and begin to build the emotional safety and self-trust you’ve always deserved.

Healing doesn’t mean forgetting the pain it means learning to stop abandoning yourself to earn love that should’ve been freely given.

If this speaks to you, I’d love to support you on your healing journey.
