Sciatica --pain in the back, hip, or leg from compressed nerves in the low back-- is very common, but acupuncture can help to relax muscles and reduce inflammation in the area to help restore proper nerve conduction. I've had a lot of success treating it-- in fact, it's kind of my bread and butter as an acupuncturist.
