Cornea repairs for Radial Keratotomy is very common because the surgery does not last as long as other procedures that restore vision to the eye. This patient received RK surgery several years ago to the point where 8 incisions were made. However, throughout time, the effectiveness of the RK procedure wore over time as well. Now, many patients come in to receive a repair on their eyes to shape them better than normal and restore correction to a point where it is clearer than before. This is one of the many prominent and refractive surgeries we do!

The Corneal Repair Epithelium and Topography Enhanced (CREATE) Protocol is a procedure that uses topographic guided ablation to treat many irregularities in the eye. In this case, this patient had Radial Keratotomy years ago that made incisions in the eye that failed to preserve corrected vision over time.
