This patient received RK surgery several years ago to the point where the incisions are barely noticeable. However, throughout time, the effectiveness of the RK procedure wore over time as well. Here is a real recording of how short surgery can be done at Motwani LASIK Institute/Cornea Revolution. Just under 10 minutes for both eyes! This patient came in with a prior RK done and needed to repair their cornea as their vison started to worsen over the years. Our repair surgery consists of two steps or two separate procedures! Step 1, reshaping the cornea to make it more uniform. Step 2, correcting the overall power of the cornea.
