If you are uninsured or cannot afford to pay for your mammogram or Pap smear, then WellHaven Primary Care is able to offer free mammograms and Pap smears through the California program Every Woman Counts. You must live in California but do not have to be a US citizen to qualify. Once a woman turns 21, she should start receiving Pap smears on a regular basis. Mammograms can be performed at any age for an adult woman if there are symptoms or a breast health concern. Usually, routine mammograms begin at age 40.

After giving 60 Moderna COVID19 vaccines to essential healthcare workers this week, I rolled up my sleeve and received my vaccine too. I was so inspired by all of the awesome healthcare workers I met this week! I hope to continue to help San Diego County with this vaccine rollout for the next month. We can do it! We can stop the spread!
