Every year, Revision hibernates for Winter Break. We think it’s a valuable time for the creative makers to rest, to catch up on deadlines, avoid getting sick, spend time with friends and families, or just be sloths if they can. Our Hillcrest gallery and gift shop will be open today, 9-2pm, and two more Saturdays from 12-4pm, for shopping opportunities before the New Year arrives ✨

Snapshots from Best in Show opening exhibition ✨ Thank you for the outpouring of support from our community! The artists felt the love.
Although our Gallery will be closed the last 2 weeks of December for our winter break, there will still be an opportunity to view the grand display January 5th-23rd, during the hours of 9:30am and 1:30pm, for self-guided tours.

Since 2021, Chad has worked with Revision as a Mentor and most recently, took in the role as Lead Outreach. He developed the new First Friday workshops, created inclusive Open Call for Art opportunities, placed loads of Revision works into communal galleries, and has helped many of the artists develop and expand their own personal styles while at the studio. We are so lucky to have amazing Mentors at Revision, especially when so much heart and soul is applied to our cause. Although we will still be partnering on projects in the future, we will miss seeing Chad each week at the studio. Please join us in wishing him the best of luck in his new journey ahead.

It’s Giving Tuesday, and this year we invite you to offer your TIME, by joining in with us this weekend. On Saturday we are hosting our last event of 2025! All the Revision artists in residence have work on display at our La Mesa Gallery, for the Best in Show exhibition, showcasing their prize works of the year. This is our largest show to date with fiber art, sculpture, paintings, mixed medias, animated art and photography. A selection of gift items are available for sale, and beverages will be served. Come show support for your fave artist or discover a new one ✨
All proceeds benefit the neurodiverse artists enrolled in our creative arts program, a 501 c(3) charitable organization. Thank you 🏆

Our studio, and our creative arts program would not be possible without the partnership and support from our community. A sincere thank you to the people who show up for us in many ways, through acts of advocacy, service, and monetary donations too.

San Diego Regional Center Funds our Creative Arts Program, through the Dept. Of Developmental Services, giving artists with disabilities a sponsorship to our amazing shared workspace, Monday through Friday.

Granted us operational funds this year to continue to bring vibrant arts to San Diego.

Mister A's Restaurant Held an incredible fundraiser benefitting our organization that raised $16,000 towards materials for our artists, one of our most needed resources.

The Chambers Family donated $2,000 towards our La Mesa studio costs.

Regal Parkway Donated $700 towards our studios as part of their local philanthropic community efforts.

The Flores Family donated new studio equipment benefiting Revision artists.

The Padilla Family donated a studio desk for Revision artists.

The Thurston Family donated acts of service by expertly repairing our Little Free Library and power washing our patio.

The Ashworth Family donated art supplies and furniture for our studios and gallery.

The Toy-Pitcher Family donated loads of items for the SNAP Food Drive, benefiting Revision Artists and local community members.

Our volunteers, Shannon and Finiva donate time in-studio on a weekly basis. Their helpful presence has been invaluable.

To all of our customers, friends, and followers, thanks for being a part of our journey ✨ If you are in a position to become a sustaining member, our organization would greatly benefit from helpers. Or, if you’re looking to become involved in our organization, reach out! “Many hands make for light work”, as Jack would say.

There’s still a short time left to see the incredible exhibition in L.A. featuring a select group of Regional Progressive Art Studios. Revision was incredibly honored to be included in this display of work, next to such talents, and curated by the esteemed .wery. Zoe recently took a trip up to visit her soft sculpture, pictured here.

Check out this passion piece Jack has created in support of PBS, the public broadcasting station that serves as inspiration for many of his projects. In this piece he used a real license plate cover as the focal point, and developed the concept around what a custom message could include. His signature style of ‘artivism’, art with activism, is what makes his collection of work special. What are some of your favorite shows on the network?
