This morning, we held our daughter as she took her final breath. Sasha rested in our arms, exhausted from a battle no child should ever face. Cancer took her strength, but never her light.
In her final moments, there was peace in her eyes and love in every breath. She left this world as she lived—surrounded by love, held tightly, just as she asked: “Hold me tight.”
She is no longer in our arms, but she will live forever in our hearts.

Julia was just six years old when a brain tumor took her childhood and replaced it with surgeries, chemotherapy, feeding tubes, and endless nights in the oncology ward.
Fear became routine. Waiting became life. And still, Julia endured — quietly brave, smiling when she could, carrying a strength no child should ever need.
Today, she has finished treatment and entered follow-up care — a moment her family once feared they would never reach. No headlines. No celebrations.
Just this miracle: she is still here.

What began as a harmless click in nine-year-old Katie Pake’s knee quickly became the fight of her life. Doctors initially dismissed it as growing pains—until scans revealed osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer with only a 20% survival rate.
After brutal rounds of chemotherapy and a life-changing surgery to rebuild her leg, Katie made a powerful choice: she refused to give up. Today, she’s not just surviving—she’s defying the odds and winning in ways no one ever imagined.

She thought death belonged to other people — until it took her child. She believed it would be quiet. Gentle. Wrapped in meaning and soft explanations. But December 11 was none of those things. Saying goodbye to Brielle was raw. Shattering. Final in a way no words could soften. The world kept moving anyway — the sun rose, people laughed, life went on — while hers stopped. Faith didn’t make the pain disappear. Love didn’t end. It only became something she would have to carry forever.

At 24 weeks pregnant, we learned that our baby, Arthur, had Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), a rare heart condition. The news was a shock, but early diagnosis gave us time to prepare for the challenges ahead. We were incredibly grateful for the medical team who supported us through this difficult time.
Arthur was born needing immediate care, and after just two weeks in the NICU, he underwent life-saving surgery to correct his condition. The surgery was a success, and we finally brought him home, overwhelmed with gratitude and relief.
Nine months later, Arthur is thriving, full of energy and joy. His journey has been tough, but it’s also filled with hope, love, and resilience. Early diagnosis, expert care, and the strength of our family made all the difference.
Arthur’s story is a reminder of how precious life is and how important early intervention is. We hope that by sharing our journey, we can offer support and hope to other families facing similar challenges.

Today was a calm day spent with Milo, giving us a chance to slow down. His health struggles continue, but he’s showing more resilience than I ever imagined. Recently, Milo got an arterial line and a PICC line to prepare for surgery, which is nerve-wracking but necessary.
One of the biggest hurdles has been Milo’s oral aversion, but we’re making progress. He’s now allowing me to give him small sips of water, a tiny victory that means so much.
Even though I’m dealing with a stomach bug, I’ll keep pushing forward for Milo, especially with surgery coming up soon.

Matthew Goodman, a former Royal Marine, had kept his war medals tucked away for years. They were symbols of his sacrifice, but when he heard about four-year-old Lottie Woods-John’s battle with neuroblastoma, his perspective changed. Instead of keeping his medals, Matthew decided to sell them to raise money for her treatment.
Lottie’s fight for survival, which included chemotherapy and radiation, touched Matthew deeply. He knew he had to act, and by donating the proceeds from his medals, he helped fuel a global outpouring of support for her. Lottie’s journey, full of pain and hope, led to the miraculous news that she was in remission.
Matthew’s decision to part with something so personal wasn’t just an act of generosity—it was a reflection of the strength and compassion that defined both his and Lottie’s journey. Sometimes, the greatest acts of courage come from what we are willing to give away.

Hunter’s fight is reaching a place no family is ever prepared for.
His brain activity is fading, and doctors say he is no longer responding, leaving his loved ones clinging to every remaining moment.
His parents are not asking for explanations anymore — only peace.
Peace for their son to feel nothing but love, and strength for themselves as they face what comes next.
This is the kind of heartbreak words can’t hold, only love can.
