Domestic violence does not always look the way people think it does. Many abusers are skilled at appearing charming, helpful, friendly, and “like such a good person” to the outside world. That image is often part of the disguise.

Behind closed doors can be fear, control, manipulation, intimidation, and violence.

Please stop using someone’s public persona to dismiss what survivors are saying. Abuse thrives in silence, denial, and disbelief.

Listen to survivors. Believe patterns. Pay attention to red flags. Protect victims.

A survivor’s timeline is theirs. Period. There are countless reasons, and none of them require your approval.

When you question it, you’re not being curious—you’re showing every survivor in your life that you’re not a safe place to land.

Here’s why fiber deserves center stage right now:
