Counting your blessings when things are good is easy, but when s**t really sux is when it's hardest to see the light. That's when being relentless counts most.

Maintaining composure and keeping it together when you're down is the most important time to regroup, reflect, and make moves.

I don't know how I would have been able to make it from 2011-2016 without setting aside the time to focus my mind, body and spirit. Mushrooms and working out kept me from drowning.

Most important was somehow finding gratitude thru it all.

Maybe one day I'll hop on a podcast and talk about leaving active duty, raw and uncut.

But fighting when you think you have nothing left is when you know what you're truly made of. It's when real transformation happens.
