Stop arguing for your limitations. You have ZERO chance of ā€œaccidentallyā€ hitting your goal when you argue, justify and defend limitations. This is in ANY are of our lives. The crazy thing was this comment was on a video about all the ridiculous amount of injuries I had the last several years. If I had NOT shared about the injuries there would have been a comment about why someone’s ā€œinjuryā€ was why they can’t . That’s my point.
It is not about this particular comment. It’s about a mindset that is holding people back

You think it’s your time, or the $, or the (insert whatever here) but nope… it’s your belief set.

Circumstances are VERY real. Not arguing that they are not. However if you WANT to find a way you will! For those of you that are busy AF and you are still finding a way will you please share below? So others can see that this is absolutely possible:

PS my people pleasing era is over. In 2026 I’m doing back to my roots- I’m sharing truth. I will not edify to make others feel better. That will never help you achieve your goal.

ā€œThat’s not possible!ā€ 🫠 Dang… It’s wild how easy it is for us to stop dreaming when our brain flips into ā€œprotect mode.ā€

We start listing all the reasons why we can’t.

Why it’s too late.
Why it’s unrealistic.
Why it’s not for us.
Why it is possible to others but not us.

It’s so very convincing.
But also so very wrong.

Goals never happen by accident. Ever.
They only start when we get CLEAR about what we actually want.

Not what feels safe.
Not what feels practical.
Not what we think we’re allowed to want.
Not what others tell us we should want
Not why feels easy.

The question that snaps me out of this limited thinking is this:

If anything were possible. If money, time, age, and logistics were not in the way. What would I want?

Start there. This is exactly what I have been thinking and journaling on the last few days.

Do not let your brain talk you out of the answer. That voice isn’t intuition. It’s fear trying to keep you small. Yup.

Clarity comes before confidence.
Desire comes before the how.
And wanting more does not make us ungrateful. It makes us ALIVE

Comment POD481 šŸ‘‡This is my 9-figure-earning bestie. We wear the same size,have absolutely shown up in the same outfit more times than not… and we’ve had many many laughs over our shared adhd that loses keys and cell phones daily.

But beyond the laughs, being around her has reminded me me of many things and taught me so much

šŸ’—What you focus on actually becomes your life

šŸ’—ā€Anything is possibleā€ is not hype. It’s a decision

šŸ’—Visualization isn’t woo. It’s direction. It’s necessary and it can create everything from nothing

šŸ’— Age doesn’t have to define us ever. And midlife is when to stop playing small.

Also, we really are the sum of the people we spend the most time with.
Energy, mindset, belief. It all rubs off.

As the year winds down, I’m choosing proximity to people who expand me in all areas. Will you?

Mind blowing what she taught me about how this is a growing epidemic with midlife women but so often missed and incentivized to be missed by insurance companies!!

For example- did you know doctors were CHARGED if the chose NOT prescribe statins to patients?? 🤯

Also ā€œfibromyalgia ā€œ has been a catch phrase for ā€œwe can’t diagnoseā€ā€¦ but what if it’s actually MCAS and TREATABLE?!

Protein… carbs… fats… higher fiber… repeat! I have shared that I eat primarily ā€œunprocessedā€ before and this is what I mean. Natural , real foods that once ā€œgrewā€. I prioritize eating at home, minimal ingredients and I aim to make every nutrient truly ā€œcountā€

Here are my simple rules:

Focus on adding in so much of the good that you make less room for the ā€œnot so amazingā€

Focus on building meals around lean proteins, nutrient dense plants, and heathy fats (lots of olive oil and pumpkin seeds for me!)

Eat enough. Do not under eat or we lose muscle

Never stuffed never starved. I do not force feed but I do not let myself get hungry ever :)

Eat Stachy carbs after your protein and veggies (you are less likely to over eat the starches then!)

My own personal rules as I’m a celiac and histamine sensitive is I eat gluten free and low histamine. However… if you are eating ā€œunprocessedā€ā€˜you are naturally eating gluten free too 😘

I do not avoid dairy but I limit it. I don’t avoid sugar all together but I limit that as well!

I do not drink alcohol. There is zero health benefit and I feel like crap if I do šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøSo other than the small shared glass If traveling in Italy with my husband (that’s not common haha) it doesn’t happen. I know many of you don’t want to hear that but you have asked what I personally do so that’s the answer!

Hydrate… a lot

I also make it a challenge to see how many veggies (phytonutrients!) I can get in in a day…

2 years ago today I was recovering from an explant. I had breast implants- 5 sets over 33 years. The journey started at age 19. Yup 19.

Why did I get them? All the reasons you’d think. Insecurities, hate of my body, not feeling enough, wanting to be ā€œenoughā€

Why did I continue to replace them so many times despite all the problems each set? Same reason as above.

Why did I remove them? I don’t know that I would have had I not had that final ā€œruptureā€ … I didn’t want to be replacing them every decade into my 70s 80s etc…

Do I miss them? Sometimes. Yes.

Do I regret removing them? No.

Do I think I’ve some how evolved and am above caring about aesthetics , and appearance? Definitely not. See upper eye bleph I recently had šŸ˜‚

Am I healthier without them? YES physically. (There is a long list as to what changed health wise)

Do they look better? No. I’ve got deformities, several scars and a negative A cup size . And yes … sometimes I’m self conscious. But I own it without stuffing my sports bras.

Will I put them back in. Nope. My scars are a reminder of the lengths I will go to to be ā€œenough.ā€

For those of you considering them just know they are a LIFETIME of dealing with them. It won’t be one and done.

For those of you considering explanting also know those scars will be a lifetime of reminders.

Yes, the 54 year old me is glad I explanted and took back my health in ways I would not have understood before they came out.

The 19 year old girl who got them? She’s still there. She’s still on her journey. But she’s complete with the DD implant chapter
