Yes, we train strength for stronger muscles, but we also train for balance, posture, flexibility, and functionality.

Why?

Because your body needs to be conditioned in all of these aspects to keep you feeling your best!

You don’t have to avoid bread forever. Nor, do you have to be a sourdough bread baker to eat good bread.

You just have to know what to look for when buying bread.

The best bread will have 3 ingredients: flour, water, and yeast.

Look for organic, spouted, stone-milled, or grain free options.

Notice where the sugar comes from. Ideally, honey or agave. It should be less than 3g of sugar per serving.

Most importantly, make sure if there are any oils in it, it is extra virgin olive oil, not processed inflammatory oils, such as palm oil or Safflower oil.

You all know I love to find you guys the best of the best foods to keep you healthy and happy.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked what protein bar I would recommend.

Well, I finally found one that I fully approve of. Both in taste and in ingredients.

What sets this one apart from the others— there is TRULY no weird stuff in it!

The Ingredients are 💯. I wouldn’t change a thing! Fruit + nuts and seeds + organic egg white protein. 👌🏻

“I’m in my alignment era.” Do not disturb.

I keep my mornings for myself, so I can ease into the day without stress.

I cancel the plans if it will drain my energy.

I know when to give myself a break, before I crash, to help me reset.

I say goodbye to people who I’ve outgrown.

I say, “no,thank you” without an explanation to follow.

I own my worth and don’t let anyone take it from me.

I hold my standards high and strong.

When to NOT ignore the signs your body is telling you:

If you have suffered an injury and you still feel occasional pain, that can indicate underlying tissue damage, the body creating inflammation to bring blood and circulation to that area, and potential joint issues.

If you are adjusting your movements to avoid pain or discomfort. When you compensate your alignment in the short term, it will only bring on more imbalances in other areas, place undue stress in other joints, and can lead to more problems in other areas.

Repetitive re-injury issues of an already weak muscle or joint, are a major sign of incomplete recovery.

If you experience any or all of these symptoms, whether chronically or acutely, it’s time to find the root cause of the problem and fix the issue for good!
