A Center of Excellence in Yoga Learning Iyengar Yoga Source is a yoga center in San Diego facilitating the learning process of yoga.

We provide clear, precise teaching principles to empower the student of yoga with the know-how to practice yoga with confidence. We are located in Carmel Valley, in San Diego’s beautiful coast. Tucked away in a quiet, meditative setting, the studio offers a full range of yoga classes for everyone from beginners to advanced students. As a center of learning, we respect levels and build upon the body and mind’s ability, steadily and gradually. Introductory classes are available weekly and the first week of each month. Iyengar yoga is a traditional style of yoga, taught with precision and depth. Iyengar-certified teachers are intensely trained with very high standards for achievement.

Corine Biria, esteemed international yoga teacher based in Paris, France, started teaching Iyengar Yoga in 1981 and began studying under BKS Iyengar in Pune, India on a yearly basis shortly thereafter. She has trained scores of teachers throughout the world, authored numerous articles on yoga and the book the “Tales and Legends of Sages in Light on Yoga,” and choreographed several stellar demonstrations on yoga, including some approved for BKS Iyengar’s viewing. Corine guides students to internalize while remaining authentic; in her classes, one can instantly experience the maturity of her understanding gained through her practice. Minimum six months Iyengar yoga practice for her workshop.
