I’m thankful I can give my daughter this life. And it’s only possible because of the amazing community we have. As a single mom I depend on my community to help raise my child and all of you make a difference, more than you know. Thank you to the beautiful humans who invest in our children. To Jasmines coaches and teachers, church youth group leaders - who even attended her games! And to all of the parents who support us by carpooling, sharing snacks and being friends. All of your individual kindness adds up and I literally could not do this without you. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

ONE YEAR in San Diego! 🌟

The experience of picking up and moving across the country was the most scary and exhilarating thing I’ve ever done. I’ve cried tears of joy, heartache and EVERYthing in between. I’ve never felt more human. And it’s the best feeling. When we numb the bad pain, the hurt, we numb the good too. Being human means feeling and embracing it all. It’s what connects us to other humans and makes our soul come alive. We are all connected. Embracing that gives us purpose and meaning, encouragment and support. We were created to live in community. We were not meant to do it alone. Feeling blessed, feeling more alive than ever.

In my teens, I used to do 80s workout videos with my mom on our green s**g carpet. Now, my daughter works out with me and we take classes together. This photo on the green turf feels like such a full circle moment.

So proud of my daughter—and so thankful to my mom for instilling a love for health and fitness in me. ❤️
