So funny, I was literally telling a client recently about how I always imagined myself living in some cabin in the woods with a bunch of cats and rescue dogs and my own chickens and a garden with herbs and vegetables… and a little separate bungalow of sorts where I would have my healing space and my massage room, and all my herbal medicine, essential oils, and with h- doctoring goodness so that I could heal people of the village like how we did in the old times.
And she said “when you have a vision or a dream that’s because on some level it’s meant for you” and then the next day, someone sent this to me… The 🏡 Aquarius ♒️ retirement plan.
How cute~~ anyway to all my fellow Aquarians~ happy birthday!
It’s my birthday today and I’m going to work for one client- and then I’m gonna take the rest of the day off for myself.
I’ll be spending this day gardening, doctoring up my succulent plants, Handling errands like any adult has to deal with and taking some extra good care of my body.

I’ve been busy. 2025 was an ass-kicker for me and also had some really wonderful moments of course. I’m proud of my self-care journey and trying out the “I don’t drink” identity. It was pretty easy- TBH! Now to decide my boundaries going forward.

Now this, THIS is the correct way to cold-text a massage therapist! 👏 👌

Ever since texting became a thing and now ppl don’t actually have to call you, OFTEN times I get random texts like “are you available” (no date, no time, no name- no introduction..) or “what are your prices” which I always find dumb AF because I have them listed in numerous places to make that info AVAILABLE.
I’m not some mysterious life coach or SEO company that won’t tell you my damn rates until you book a discovery call with me.
Or even more ewww 🤢 🤮 “how much for happy____ ?/ do you do ta**ra?/ are your massages full body? Do you do sensual massage?” And even extra ick followed with “You’re really ____.” (insert appearance comment) 😳
As this the most disrespectful and fu***ng upsetting thing because **AS IF** all massage therapists that [this person thinks] are attractive- suddenly WANT to be s*x workers? 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🤦🏻‍♀️
Ughhh yeah. No. Bro. Seriously.
❌DONT BE CREEPY. ❌DONT BE WEIRD.
Just say hi, who you are, what you want, and whether you have any questions. Whether there’s a sense of urgency on this situation- because if so, that’s the most important part.

We’re happy to help. We want to help. We genuinely like people- and are likely super empathic, kind, supportive and friendly… but we DONT like dealing with creepers or ambiguous anonymous texts- with NO CONTEXT.
NEVER EVER, EVER- assume a massage therapist is “that kind” of “masseuse” okay? Just don’t. If you can’t obviously tell- assume they’re NOT. Not the other way around.. Or you know what? Just NEVER make assumptions.
And don’t text in the middle of the night- or ask what we charge or when we are available- without FIRST introducing yourself and providing some context for the conversation.

Self care is simple. What nourishes you? I had a (therapeutic, deep tissue) massage yesterday and I feel SO MUCH BETTER!
So much stuff including emotions / fears/ worries/ grief gets stuck in our bodies and loosening that crap up can be SUCH a game changer in your health and wellnes journey. It’s not just about release of muscle tension. Although it took 2 other massages and an hour of trigger point therapy I did on myself, a cupping session and multiple chiro adjustments to get me here. I did get here- holistically.
Sometimes you have to try things and use a process of elimination.
Most importantly- never stop trying.

Hello my people who actually read the captions, 😉 happy fall 🍁🍂 y’all!
I was sick a couple of weeks ago 😔 with some nasty flu bug thing that took me out for three or four days out of the week. Not only that- but It weakened me BIG TIME and dehydrated me to the bone. I lost over 6lbs I’ve been trying VERY hard to keep! 💪 hopefully it was n mostly water… Haven’t had a stomach flu 🤢 since I was a child!
💩 🚽 😵‍💫💩 🚽 😵‍💫 no fun!!
So exhausting…
You know what I have noticed??? I don’t get sick often- but when I do— it’s because I was already run down. Exhausted from a camping/festival- or super stressed and not sleeping or eating well for other reasons- and when we get RUN DOWN- and our immune system is already taxed, THAT’S when we get sick..🤧 🤒
Let this be a reminder to everybody to *keep your immune system healthy*.
We are exposed to viruses, bacteria, and all sorts of things that want to infect us, like staph even— ALL THE TIME.
It’s out there. It’s only a matter of whether or not it can get INTO you & latch ONTO you by having a portal like a tiny cut on your finger that’s not being protected or kept clean. It’s WILD when you think about it. 🤯 🦠 🧫 But a great way to *STAY HEALTHY* is to wash your hands- especially before you touch your face. (I think about this constantly when I’m at the gym.) and also protect your natural immune defenses.. 🤔 how do you do this?
-stress management
-sleep hygiene
-diet, hydration, nutrition
-positive outlook & mindset (HUGE)
-exercise and movement
Idk about you but all those can be assisted by a nice therapeutic massage! Amiright? 😉
