May we remember the power and Divinity of Shakti, of the feminine aspect, of women, of the Goddess, of ourselves.

Practicing yoga at the park in collaboration with .sd was a dream come true 🌿
 San Diego had a historical win last year as a city that has fought for the right to lead yoga classes outdoors after years of being legislated against. I am thankful for the change makers who have held their ground (literally) to ensure we get to be on the land in this way, and there have historically been folks missing from the scene: q***r, Trans, and BIpoc people.

Seeing a full QTIBIPOC yoga class outside felt profoundly meaningful as I return back to the city where I began my journey as a student of this medicine. ✨

Taking up space as q***r people of color reminded the land and the community that we exist, we belong here, and we deserve access to wellness and care. 🤲🏽

So much gratitude to .sd for uplifting and supporting the vision, to the folks who showed up, and to Kumeyaay land. 🙏🏽

Our existence is resistance and we remember that healing expands when we make room for all of us. 🌍

Hello community,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I come to you with an offering 🤲🏽

For too long we have seen the femme form scapegoated, the goddess exiled, the body asked to shrink, and the Spirit told to quiet down.

But it is time for change.

Freeing the Femme Form is a collaborative, trauma-informed container held with care and intention that centers q***r and Trans BIPOC femmes.

Together, we will explore somatic movement, spiritual lineage,
and collective witnessing as pathways to liberation and embodied truth. We will learn from the spiritual intersectional feminist teachings of: Kali Ma, Lal Ded, Saraswati, and Bahuchara Mata.

This space is intentionally small and held slowly and will cap at ten folks.

Facilitator info: Meesha is a q***r south asian femme who has been teaching yoga and holding circle for ten years. Informed by a sampradaya of Kashmiri Shaivisim and Punjabi Vedic scholars, Meesha offers yoga as a cultural reclamation practice, an indigenous medicine, and a space to implement diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging praxis.

Greetings my loves from the deep embrace of winter’s wisdom ❅

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I come to you with an offering 🤲🏽

For too long we have seen the femme form scapegoated, the goddess exiled, the body asked to shrink, and the Spirit told to quiet down.

But it is time for change.

I humbly reach out to you, my community, to see who feels called to gather to do the work of Freeing the Femme Form. 🧡

This container will be an intimate curated group of up to ten people ready to embark on a four-week embodied journey. We will gather to explore the healing available when we come together in circle to share, be seen, be heard, learn from the lives and teachings of femme spiritualists and deities, use somatic healing tools from the wisdom of yoga, and simply have space to exist in our fullness and truth.

You will be given yoga mythology stories, poems, and prayers, along with pranayama, dhyana, and asana techniques, and time to reflect and share. Each week we will build upon our last, with the intention that you walk away feeling empowered, more connected to your body and Spirit, equipped with new somatic healing practices, and in deeper relationship to spiritual intersectional feminism.

Year of the snake was a personal and collective time to shed, transform, spiritually die, and see hard truths. As we approach year of the horse, the year I was born, I am thankful to say that myself and Alchemystic studio are re-emerging with new clarity.

It is time to rebirth anew yet return to the original essence of Alchemystic: a space for art, embodiment, storytelling, philosophy, and slow creative expression- not for the algorithm, not for the industry, but for the sake of creating itself.

This next era is about depth, ritual, and devotion.

It’s about creating from truth, not performance.

I no longer accept the exploitation and harm caused by the rat race. I reclaim my humble place in the practice.

I honor my calling to be of service while honoring my humanity as well.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the last five years. May we step into the future with all of the wisdom we gained from the past. 🐍

Fuerthermore: growing up, all we heard was that we lived in the ‘greatest country on Earth.’ Which means we have been brainwashed into the narcissistic family system when it comes to our global family as well. The time for reckoning and awakening is now. When we can identify the role that the system placed us in, we can begin to unlearn the harm that role caused, and reclaim our identity outside of it all. May we see a more balanced Earth.
