According to NBC San Diego, 70% of teenagers are unemployed and can't find summer work. If you or your teenager (or your friends' teens) is in this boat, why not consider babysitting! CPR/AED Awareness Week ends tomorrow, but we have one more nugget of encouragement for you. A 2-year-old hit her head and went unconscious in the bath tub, causing her heart to stop. Had it not been for the early CPR started by her paramedic neighbor, she would be dead today. Would you be able to save a life today?

A San Marcos teen passed away yesterday while playing basketball with friends. Early reports indicated that an AED was used, but other details about time and CPR use were not provided. Could they have made a difference? We can't know for sure. Just remember that death can strike any person at any time, and you need to be prepared just in case.

Sheriffs are investigating after a boy collapsed at Mission Hills High School Thursday. He later died at the hospital.
