Meet Yuki!
We’re excited to welcome Yuki, who will be teaching our Beginning/Intermediate Tap class on Saturdays at 10am.

Yuki began her tap journey in Tokyo, where she trained at Kaz Tap Studio and performed as part of a professional tap company, as well as in special project-based ensembles. She was also a member of Women in Tap, a project led by Shoko Taniguchi celebrating female tap dancers.

Her training includes mentorship from renowned Japanese tap artists Kazu Kumagai, Shoko Taniguchi, and Takahiro Kobayashi. Alongside performing, Yuki has taught students of all ages (from 4 to 80!) and is known for her rhythm-driven, varied, and engaging exercises that welcome dancers of all levels.

After moving to the U.S., Yuki continued to share her love of tap as an instructor, choreographer, and rehearsal director for a competition team. She has taught at Rockstar Dance Studio (Pacific Grove, CA) and Starborne Dance Studio (Palmdale, CA).
