It's not you... it's me 🫠

If your patience disappears in a blink and suddenly everyone is “too much,” your hormones may be changing. 🔄

For a lot of women experiencing perimenopause or menopause, “rage” can be one of the loudest symptoms, but it’s rarely the only one.

You might also notice 👇

💔 low libido or none at all
🥱 fatigue that sleep doesn’t fix
🌫️ brain fog/forgetfulness
⏰ waking up at 2–4 am
🎢 mood swings
💪 muscle loss, stubborn weight changes
🦴 concerns about bone density

Here’s the part no one tells you: Your body is asking for support.

When estrogen, progesterone, thyroid, and cortisol shift, your nervous system can feel like it has no buffer.

Little things feel BIG, and you’re left wondering why you don’t recognize yourself.

At Perfect Balance Health, we don’t brush it off as “just menopause.”

We test, not guess, with comprehensive labs and a personalized plan to help you feel more like YOU again. 🧠✨

If menopause rage has you snapping at people you love or feeling guilty after every outburst, it’s time to come in. ✨

Ever feel like your body’s stuck in neutral and you can’t find the gear shift? ⚙️

A lot of men hit their 50s and notice the slow slide: energy drops, workouts feel impossible, muscles shrink, weight creeps up, sleep gets lighter, mood feels off.

👻 Then motivation disappears, which makes the cycle even harder to break.
Dr. Janette Gray sees this pattern all the time.

For some men, testosterone support can help restore enough drive and stamina to restart the habits that change everything: getting back to the gym, sleeping better, feeling steadier, eating with more intention.

Once momentum returns, the rest becomes more doable. 📈

For others, the frustration is different: they’ve been lifting, watching food, doing the “right” things, yet still don’t feel like themselves.
That’s your sign to stop guessing and get your hormones checked. 🧪✅

At Perfect Balance Health, we start with labs and your goals.

If energy, strength, mood, sleep, or weight have started trending the wrong way, schedule an appointment and let’s map out a plan that supports you long-term.

Who told women their 50s are the “beginning of the end”? 🤔

Dr. Gray says the opposite, this season can be your second act. A chapter where you stop running on fumes for everyone else and finally put yourself back on the calendar. 🗓️

For most women, this phase shows up alongside real-life shifts like kids leaving home, career changes, aging parents, retirement decisions, and identity shifts.

That’s a lot.

Add hormone changes to the mix, and it can feel like your body and brain are rewriting the rules overnight.

Here’s the part we need to say out loud, "You deserve to feel steady, clear, energized, and confident through this transition!" 💪

Hormone changes can influence sleep, mood, metabolism, and vitality. When those signals start showing up, it’s worth getting answers. 🫶

At Perfect Balance Health, we evaluate your symptoms, run labs, and build a personalized plan with Dr. Gray so you can move through this stage supported physically and mentally long-term.

If menopause has been messing with your quality of life, book an in-office visit and let’s get you back to feeling like yourself. ⚡️

Testosterone isn’t “a man’s hormone.” It’s a you hormone. 👀

If you’re 40+ and feeling like a stranger in your own body, low libido, crushing fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, softer muscles, achier joints, or concerns about bone density, you might be under-supported hormonally.

Yes, women make testosterone too, and it can play a meaningful role in:

✨ Desire and s*xual confidence
💪 Muscle tone and strength
🦴 Bone support
🧠 Focus and motivation
😴 Sleep and recovery
⚡️ Overall vitality

Hormone optimization is tailored to your biology. Your labs, symptoms, history, and goals all play a role.

Ready to stop guessing and get to the root cause? Book a visit with Dr. Gray at Perfect Balance Health.

We often think of testosterone as just a “male hormone,” but it plays a vital role in health and wellness for all genders.

In men, low testosterone often shows up as irritability, fatigue, decreased s*x drive, and difficulty maintaining muscle.

In women, it’s even more overlooked; but it affects libido, energy, strength, and mood.

The signs can be subtle and gradual, but the impact on quality of life is SO real.

Testosterone is not just for men. It’s a vital hormone for everyone.

If you’re used to performing at a high level but lately feel slightly out of sync, our 2-minute Personalized Wellness Assessment can help you take the first step toward feeling steady and energized again.

Ever notice your libido isn’t consistent across your life and you’re wondering why it feels like it changed overnight? 💭

S*x hormones influence desire and arousal.
Testosterone matters for men, and it also plays a real role for women (along with estrogen.)

It’s common to notice shifts across different life stages, and those changes often accelerate through perimenopause and menopause as hormone levels decline.

If your arousal or s*xual response feels different than it used to, let's figure out why.

Want to protect your muscle, metabolism, energy, and long-term brain health as you age? 🙋‍♀️

Estrogen influences far more than cycles and hot flashes.

📉 As levels shift during perimenopause and menopause, bone density can decline quietly, often without obvious symptoms, until a fracture happens.

🦴 And a fracture can change everything.

Mobility 🚶‍♀️
Strength 💪
Confidence 🌟
Independence 🙌

For years, estrogen and hormone therapy were wrapped in fear, especially around cancer risk.

🔎 Much of that fear traces back to early interpretations of the Women’s Health Initiative in 2002, which shaped how hormone therapy was discussed for decades, even as the science continued to evolve.

The FDA’s decision to move away from black box warnings reflects what we’ve learned over time. Those early headlines never told the whole story.

On The Longevity Link podcast with Chris Givant, Dr. Janette Gray explains how that fear took hold, what newer data has clarified, and how guideline based, individualized care has helped reset the conversation.

Hormone therapy was never meant to be one size fits all. It comes down to the right patient, the right timing, and the right formulation.
