Lighting candles for Hanukkah is part of a story that has existed for hundreds of years. And tonight, we spend time in song and contemplation - remembering the past and forging strength for the future.
With all the suffering, the tragic loss of life and safety in Australia, where my dear sister Klara’s family still live, it is so important for us to remember what we have been through so that we can be strong when we are called upon for our resilience.
I send all of you all my love. Hanukkah may be a Jewish holiday, but it is an opportunity for all of us to unite around a shared love of life and light.
With all my love,
Edie
