A beautiful moment with Edie at the San Diego premier of the documentary, “The Choice”

With Edie are John David Coles - the director of the film (Homeland, S*x and the city, Hoise of Cards) and to her right, is Edie’s dear friend and fellow Psychologist, Dr. Diana Weiss-Wisdom - who both helped to bring this amazing project to life.

Hopefully soon we’ll get this documentary out into the world for all of you to see!!

These two sisters, Magda and Edie, and all the amazing women who have come from their strength to survive … that is what international women’s day is about. Finding the motivation to go on… to endure the challenges in life so that you can create a movement.

Dr. Eger at 98 yrs young and her sister Magda, who lived till 101 are the real thing. They are love, wisdom humor and resilience!!

We love you two ladies, and are grateful everyday for what you have show us is possible!

If you have a resilient lady in your life please let them know how much you appreciate them. It might just be be they needed to hear from you today ❤️

Edie’s dance teacher told her a very valuable lesson, “All your ecstasy will come from the inside.”

When she heard that, she didn’t know what it would really mean. Then when her life changed dramatically due to WWII she had to put that idea to the ultimate test.

And after she survived, she maintained that quality. She always - to this day - expresses herself fully, brilliantly, brightly and authentically.

She shines and she loves to share her shine with the world. Because it is her art.

It was so beautiful to watch Alysa Liu shine her light for all of us this past week.

What do we take away from Edie and Alysa…. To be fully ourself. To shine our own light just because it feels good to. Not for accolades or success - but for the true love of life.

I have found in life that love is the strongest emotion. Yes, I have seen that fear and hate have catastrophic impact. But what if love has an even greater impact?

What if love has more power to alter this world than anything else?

Then let us practice it - let us fully immerse ourselves- let us BECOME love.

Happy Valentine’s Day my dear…I think of you today, of you my dear Bela that helped me to become my full loving self.
