Hey, You all, Update on re-opening my acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine practice at Vibrational Healing Arts. Through a patient, I found a local medical supply company that has "set me up" with PPE. I like supporting small local businesses. Need a few more items to make my office a cozy, relaxing, healing PPE space, but I'm getting there. Have received so much love from my patients during this crisis. Also received, today, a Clinic Infection Control Advisory from one of our professional organizations. Thank goodness. Happy to have the guidance. I'm hoping to re-open around mid month if that jives with the state and local regs. For now, I will schedule only one patient in the office at a time unless there are two people that live together. Acu treatment days will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Wednesdays and Fridays will be Our Precious Hero Days when First Responders and Frontline Medical folks may receive deep discounted acu and/or complementary Bemer sessions. These guys need some respite and I want to help them. I'll keep you updated.

For the past weeks, I've been studying Chinese herbal formulas that address the sequential symptomology and many faces of COVID-19. In Chinese medicine, there are specific herbal formulas that interrupt the replication of this virus's genetic material which also is the target of remdesirvir. Chinese herbal formulas relating to the treatment of COVID-19 are part of a current research project with the FDA through UCLA, UCI and UCSD. We're all on the same team. :)

According to a new study, the drug remdesivir is a very potent inhibitor for coronavirus polymerases - demonstrating its potential for combatting COVID-19.
