Tummy time doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to feel supported 🤍

Some babies jump right in.
Others need a little help feeling comfortable in their bodies first.

From a chiropractic perspective, we often look at how well the body is moving, adapting, and regulating especially through the nervous system. Gentle care may support things like tension patterns, ease of movement, and overall comfort, which can make activities like tummy time feel more accessible over time.

Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed.
We meet babies where they are and support their natural development as it unfolds.

If tummy time feels hard right now, that’s okay-it doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It just means your baby may need a little extra support 💫

Save this for reassurance 🤍
And share with a parent who might need it.

Parents often ask what pediatric chiropractic care actually involves. Simply put, it’s care that’s adapted to a child’s age, size, and stage of development.

When I work with kids, the techniques I use are very different from those used for adults. Pediatric chiropractic focuses on light, specific input to the spine and joints to support healthy movement and development as kids grow.

This approach is something I value not only professionally, but personally I chose chiropractic care for my own son, Liam, because I believe in supporting the body as it develops through each stage of childhood.

If you’re exploring chiropractic care for your child and have questions, I’m always happy to talk through what care looks like and whether it may be appropriate for your family.
And for parents whose kids are already under chiropractic care, feel free to share below what you’ve noticed or appreciated along the way.

Your postpartum support team matters 🤍
Your body goes through rapid changes after birth, from posture shifts to feeding positions to rebuilding core connection. Having care that supports how your body adapts during this season can make the transition feel more supported and intentional.

Postpartum care isn’t about “fixing” your body, it’s about helping it move, recover, and feel its best as you step into motherhood ✨
Have questions about what postpartum chiropractic care can look like? I’m happy to share 🤍 .sd

Calling all back sleepers 👀😴
If sleeping on your back is your go-to, here’s how to make sure your body feels supported as you head into the new year:

BACK SLEEPING BASICS ↓
• Choose a pillow that supports the natural curve of your neck — fuller at the base, softer at the top so your head stays neutral 🛏️
• Avoid pillows that push your head too far forward or let it fall back — support should feel easy, not forced
• Try a pillow under the knees to help the low back relax and stay neutral 🤍

These are simple adjustments, but they can make a big difference in how supported your body feels while you rest.
In 2026, think less about perfection and more about intentional support. ✨

Sleep is part of how we care for our bodies, not just something we squeeze in at the end of the day.

✨ New year, new sleeping habits.
If you’re a side sleeper, here are simple ways to feel more supported and cared for in your sleep routine this coming year:

SIDE SLEEPING BASICS ↓
• Pick a pillow that matches the space between your shoulder + head (not too thin or too tall).
• Support the top arm with a pillow in front of you so the shoulder stays open and relaxed.
• Try a pillow between the knees to keep the hips + low back more neutral.
• Let the bottom arm rest lower instead of tucking it underneath the pillow.

These are small, gentle adjustments, but they can help your body feel more aligned, more supported, and more at ease through the night.

If 2026 is a year where you want to support your body in softer, more intentional ways, starting with sleep is a great place. 🤍
It’s more than just an adjustment… it’s progress + support.

Side sleepers — does this make sense?
Comment or DM “SLEEP” if you want guidance on pillows or setup.

Back sleepers — stick around. I’ll be sharing those tips later this week. ✨

As we head into the new year, I always like to remind my patients that resolutions don’t have to be extreme to be meaningful. The most lasting changes are the ones that feel attainable, exciting, and supportive of your body over time.✨

Chiropractic care is more than just an adjustment. It’s about progress, consistency, and having support as you work toward better movement, posture, and overall health. You don’t have to do it all at once and you don’t have to do it alone.

If you’re setting health or movement goals this year, I’m here to help guide and support you along the way 🤍
