PTFORALL is a 501(c)(3) IRS recognized nonprofit public charity dedicated to helping individuals with limited financial resources to get the physical rehabilitation they need. PTFORALL helps low-income individuals by funding their physical therapy visits and providing rehabilitation equipment, assistive devices (wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, braces, etc.) By recycling used rehabilitative equipment and assistive devices we are able to keep these items out of landfills. We had the honor of presenting Matthew Eclevia (Photo: in the middle), president and founder of FreeHab Therapy, with our first grant ($5,000) of 2026. FreeHab Therapy offers pro bono mobile home health neurological physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Their geographical reach is impressive, working with clients from central San Diego county to north Orange county. They work with individuals with a multitude of diagnoses: stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, vestibular dysfunction/vertigo, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and neuromuscular diseases. FreeHab Therapy fills the gap between inpatient and the start of outpatient services, they help with community reintegration and return to home environment, and they can provide skilled maintenance to help maintain functional independence.

A big THANK YOU to Julia Dagaza and her team from Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon and Idaho). Julia and her team designed a fundraiser for PTFORALL at their booth during the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in Houston, Texas last month. The fundraiser involved participants doing as many push-ups as possible with donations earmarked at $1 per push-up. Amazingly, they raised $5,087 for PTFORALL. Thank you Julia and your team from Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy (www.therapeuticassociates.com) for your support!

Ten years ago today we received our 501(c)(3) letter of certification from the IRS. To date we have donated more than 2,000 pieces of rehabilitation equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, hospital beds, medical supplies, etc) and paid for physical therapy services for over 400 individuals who were financially challenged and unable to pay for it themselves. We could not have done it without the generous support of donors like you. THANK YOU!

This pleasant young woman came to us seeking help with pain in her shoulder and low back. MORE Physical Therapy in San Jose (www.morephysicaltherapy.com) provided the skilled physical therapy services on our behalf.

This is the message we received from the patient: “Yesterday was my last appointment at MORE Physical Therapy. I can’t describe how grateful I felt every day I went for a session. The improvement I had and the wonderful community I felt was part of. I can’t thank you enough for your generosity and support. Every day I had an appointment was a special day for me, knowing I was getting better and feeling absolutely grateful for being able to be there. I’ll be forever grateful to you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

LT, a 73 yo gentleman, came to us for help. He was complaining of weakness, impaired balance, and a lack of confidence in his daily functional abilities due to a stroke. We sent him to our partners at RISE Physical Therapy in Poway. After several sessions of skilled physical therapy, LT feels like he is getting stronger, and his balance and coordination have improved. His pain is gone, and he can walk for ten minutes outside now. Our sincere thanks to the skilled physical therapists at RISE Physical Therapy.
