Lord Jesus Christ, you are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Let your light shine in my heart and in my mind that I may grow in understanding the truth of your word and find joy and freedom in living according to it.

God called Jesus Christ to what seemed unmitigated disaster. Jesus Christ called His disciples to see Him put to death; He led every one of them to the place where their hearts were broken. Jesus Christ’s life was an absolute failure from every standpoint but God’s. But what seemed failure from man’s standpoint was a tremendous triumph from God’s, because God’s purpose is never man’s purpose.

Realize that God has a plan for you. He will always bring you back to that area of your life that needs work; that needs to be molded to be able to relate to Him better. This is part of being a Christian. So when you ask yourself why is this happening to me? or why does this keep happening to me? It is God at work in you helping you look at yourself. The work of the Christian is always an internal journey. Blessings!

Always be mindful of what kind of Church your Church is becoming:
"The Church ceases to be a spiritual society when it is on the look-out for the development of its own organization." Oswald Chambers

Chose to act and make life meaningful rather than looking for the meaning of life.

Setting our heart right

Jesus rarely comes where we expect Him; He appears where we least expect Him, and always in the most illogical ways. The only way we can keep true to God is by being ready for the Lord’s surprise visits. It is not service that matters, but intense spiritual reality, expecting Jesus Christ at every turn. This will give our life the attitude of child-wonder which He wants it to have. If we are going to be ready for Jesus Christ, we have to stop being religious (that is, using religion as a higher kind of culture) and be spiritually real.

Beneath the cross the boundaries of denominations and cultures collapse.
