You’ve served us. Let us serve you.

We are now offering Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) services for active‑duty service members and veterans. EMDR is an evidence‑based therapy recognized by both the VA and the Department of Defense as an effective treatment for trauma and PTSD. EMDR helps individuals process distressing or traumatic experiences without the need to relive or recount them in detail, making it a supportive option for military members, veterans and civilians experiencing trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, we’re here to help.

At the Thousand Branches Wellness location in Mission Valley, our modern Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) supports adults seeking deeper healing and meaningful change. We go beyond traditional talk therapy by integrating both mind and body, helping you move from simply getting by to truly thriving.

Our program, which runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., brings together four evidence‑based tools designed to help you build a life of clarity, purpose, and emotional strength:

🌿 Mindset (CBT): Shift negative thought patterns and reclaim a healthier perspective.
🌿 Balance (DBT): Learn practical, in‑the‑moment skills to regulate emotions and stay grounded.
🌿 Body (Somatic Experiencing): Release stored stress and help your nervous system feel safe again.
🌿 Purpose (ACT): Connect your daily actions with your core values and the person you want to become.

We treat the whole person—not just the symptoms. By bridging clinical psychology with nervous system health, we help you build a powerful toolkit to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.

Growth happens branch by branch. Let us help you start yours today. Learn more at https://bit.ly/4ujOfHb or call us today.

⏰ Daylight Saving Time is almost here!

On Sunday, March 8, we’ll “spring forward” and lose an hour of sleep — and that shift can be tough for many of us. Here are a few simple tips to help make the transition a little easier.

Most of us were sent into the world without an instruction manual for our own brains. When life gets heavy—or when we experience "system damage" or trauma—our internal systems can start to glitch.

Trauma is like a corrupted file on your hard drive; it runs in the background, slowing everything down and causing the system to overreact to minor threats. You might feel overheated with anxiety or panic, shut down with depression or numbness, or like your "emergency brake" is broken.

At the Thousand Branches Wellness clinic in Mission Valley, our 12-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) gives you the technical manual you never received. We treat your recovery like a system update. We don’t just talk about what happened; we focus on cleaning out the old "software" that isn't working anymore and repairing the "hardware", your nervous system, so that you can feel back in control. Our program is on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 4 p.m.

Let us help you start your update today. Call us or visit https://bit.ly/4aYbPA9 to learn more.

Join us on March 5 for Thrive Thursday at the Thousand Branches Wellness location in Mission Valley, featuring Jonny Mize of the David Lynch Foundation.

As a Certified Transcendental Meditation (TM) Teacher and post-9/11 Army combat veteran, Jonny will share his experiences with TM and discuss its impact on mental and emotional well-being, particularly within the veteran community. The event will begin with a brief video introduction, followed by an overview of the science and benefits of TM through the Resilient Warrior Program. Local veteran leaders will also share their personal insights into the positive effects of TM.

The David Lynch Foundation is currently offering full, no-cost TM scholarships for veterans, reservists, active duty service members, their families, and the VSO clinicians and support staff who support them.

We invite you to attend and learn how TM can benefit you, your team and the veterans you serve.

Our location in Mission Valley is here to serve veterans, active-duty and military families with our newly redesigned, evidence-based Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The IOP will address issues such as trauma, coping skills, emotional regulation and military life, which entails reintegration and family communication. The IOP typically spans several weeks; however, we strive to accommodate each patient’s individual scheduling needs whenever possible.
