David’s birthday weekend is finally here! 🧁 He LOVES his birthday so much that he asks about it every week to find out how much longer he has until it’s here again.

David was able to have a full vision exam today for the first time ever after years of struggling in school! In case you don’t know what a miracle this is, let me explain: he was exposed to many of his major triggers like hand sanitizer and doctors office cleaning chemicals on his skin and breathing them in; he was given dilation drops without a reaction to the chemicals in them; and he was given multiple tests to answer questions causing stress! There are a few exposures I’m leaving out like the chemicals in the water fountain outside and car exhaust, etc. BUT I’m so happy to report that he had NO immediate mast cell outbreaks, which is NOT common for him! This is good news! Hoping there’s no delayed mast cell activity!

We were able to find out that he has convergence insufficiency, Alice in Wonderland Syndrome, and Emmetropia SO now we are able to get him the help he needs and adjust his life accordingly.
