Checking in with a client about a recent session, this was part of their response… shared with permission:
“I have felt high on love since leaving our session…totally infused with love…feeling so loved and feeling so much love for others. The time near the end of the session where we talked face-to-face—it is a moment of human connection that I’m not sure I have ever experienced before, and I keep replaying it over and over in my soul and mind.”
Squeee!!!! 🥰 Same! I feel all the love filled oxytocin when our sessions close. I often say, “Don’t sign any contracts!”

Look what I found in my email today! Jake from PESI sent over some pics that were taken at Innovations in Psychotherapy earlier this month in Anaheim. Repping my private practice alongside Keeley Shoup and Cuddlist Professional Cuddle Therapy was so much fun! And to have Erin Kelly join us as a collaborating clinician as well as Grace L. Heer, a local professional cuddler and assistant trainer for Cuddlist was amazing! What a great team we had!

These pics were mainly from Thursday, the opening afternoon in the exhibitor hall. One person said the next day, "You were swarmed yesterday!" and that's pretty accurate. The 3 hours were BUSY! That said, we stayed busy the entire conference. Thanks for being so interested, attendees of Innovations!

It's a day. I went to Shefest with Sara yesterday and then to a potluck in Mission Bay. I stayed way longer than I thought I would. What can I say, it was great people! Then got home and took care of Dax's eye issue (it's totally infected and we were scheduled for the vet on Monday) and it started to bleed. Yikes!

So I sent out a notice to my book club that we were canceling today as I needed to call the vet at 8am to see if we could nab one of the urgent care appointments today, rather than wait til tomorrow.

I was the third scheduled urgent care appointment for today so we take him in at 2pm. Yay!

But then... I just had a beautiful intake call with a new client in Maryland that wants some mom energy to grieve their own mother. What an opportunity. I'm so meant for this type of client. Of course I'm helping them someone local too, but to get to share space with them when I'm in town feels like such a gift.
