🌮 Happy National Nachos Day! 🎉
Did you know nachos were invented in 1943 by Ignacio “Nacho” Anaya in Piedras Negras, Mexico? What started as a simple snack of fried tortilla chips, melted cheddar cheese, and jalapeños has become a worldwide favorite!

We’re celebrating with a Nacho Social in the courtyard — featuring cheesy nachos, picadillas, and refreshing red blood orange iced tea! 🍊🎶 There’s plenty of music, dancing, and sing-alongs to make it a fun and festive afternoon! 💃🕺

What an adventure for our residents! 🌍🦒 We “traveled” to the African Safari Zoo and Cape Cod—all in one exciting afternoon! Our journey began with a fun airplane ride before taking off on a virtual safari adventure. Everyone felt like they were truly up close with the animals! 🐘🦓✈️ It was an unforgettable afternoon filled with laughter, excitement, and wonder!

💜 End Alzheimer’s — Memories Matter Event 💜

We had an amazing day raising awareness for Alzheimer’s! This wonderful event was made possible through our partnership with Regency Grand, Visiting Angels, Quality Hospice, and of course, The Terraces at Via Verde.

From the walk to delicious food, a mini zoo, balloon artist, face painting, trivia games, pumpkin carving, golf and live music — it was a day full of fun and meaning! 🎶🐾🎈 Our residents Misty, Ofelia, and Frank had an absolute blast! 💜
