Rising Stars of Equestrian Therapy

Since 1991, Rising Stars of Equestrian Therapy has provided therapeutic and recreational horseback riding lessons to physically and mentally challenged children and adults. Horseback riding is a multidisciplinary approach to neurodevelopment therapy and physical rehabilitation that produces specific benefits and provides overall conditioning of the rider.

Happy "Giving Tuesday!"

Rising Stars needs your help! Due to the rains in November, we offered few lessons, thus, little income. We need a minimum of $3400 monthly to pay stable fees, feed, and salary. If you know people who have a giving heart ❤️ please share our need with them so they can help us.

We also need to find a home for Rosie and get a new horse that is strong enough to hold our bigger riders.

We want to thank Mella for donating her 2 helmets when she was younger. She misses being with the horses and enjoyed her time with us last Friday. Thanks, Mella. We deeply appreciate your donation of youth helmets.

We do plan to have our Rising Stars Open House on Saturday, December 6 and 13, from 9 to 10:30. See you there.

No Rising Stars Open House Saturday morning, November 22. It will take a row boat to get through the muddy arena. We plan to host 2 more Open House events on December 6 and 13 from 9 to 10:30. We don't meet in rain, over 90 degree weather, and under 50 degrees.

We wish you a joy filled family Thanksgiving. The pictures are of some of the Silver Fox Follies cast who performed at Merrill Gardens for Veteran's Day in Rancho Cucamonga. Great joy was shared for all. Veterans were shown respect and honor. There was even a World War II veteran in the audience. We are grateful for our military veterans. Thank you for your service. The cast enjoys performing for different groups. All proceeds go to the Rising Stars program.

There is no Rising Stars Open House today. There is a Horse Show at Sycamore Canyon Equestrian Center today.

Ric and I are at the Special Olympics in Perris, California today. We are at Big Dream League. We are honored to host a booth to promote our Rising Stars of Equestrian Therapy program. Butterscotch is with us and she had new batteries to entertain the people. We praise God for the coaches and families who are participating in the games. Good luck.

A huge "shout out" to Dianna Voss and Jordan for hosting a booth at the Boy Scout Jamboree in Glenhelen last Saturday. Dianna shared ways scouts can earn badges and suggested ideas for Eagle Scouts to make. They had a great time!
The Rising Stars Open House events are October 4, 18, 22. November 1, 8, 22. Join us from 9 to 10:30.
We encourage you to attend 2 events in downtown San Dimas this month. The Beer and Wine Walk will be this Saturday evening. Ric and Ruth Morris will host a booth. Stop by and say, "Howdy!" We will not be serving beer or wine.

To celebrate a safe Halloween, dress in your costume and visit the merchants downtown. Check the flyers for details. Have a great month with many opportunities. Join us as often as you can.

Ric and I hosted a booth at the San Dimas Health and Wellness fair this morning to promote our Rising Stars of Equestrian Therapy program. We made great connections for new clients, volunteers, and speaking engagements. We had a miracle to set up at 5:45 a.m. There was a 5K run, walk, and toddler event. Great event.

Thank you to the people who bought tickets to the Silver Fox Follies. Thanks to the clients and volunteers who performed in the show!!! The production was a huge success!

There will be no Rising Stars Open House tomorrow, Saturday, September 27. We will have a booth at the San Dimas Health and Wellness fair from 7 to 10:30. Dianna will be at a Boy Scout Jamboree in Glenhelen to promote what Rising Stars can do for scouts and what Eagle Scouts can do for us.

The October Open House events will be on Saturdays 4, 18, and 25 from 9 to 10:30. Please join us.

The next Rising Stars Open House events will be October 4, 18, 25. There is a Horse Show the 11th.

Last Sunday we hosted a birthday party for 10 children. They rode Chuck, fed carrots and apples to our horses, played games, and ate their treats. They had a wonderful time. Consider scheduling your birthday party with us.

Purchase your tickets for the Silver Fox Follies on September 21st at 1 p.m. at the Bonita Center for the Arts in San Dimas. You will be richly entertained with singing, dancing, and a Magic Act.

Ric Morris, CEO of Rising Stars, will offer 4 original oil paintings for a silent auction. We can take credit cards or Zelle for this purchase. There will be raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle. We will have snacks available. You can purchase bundles of flowers for your family and friends who are performing in the show. Bring your dollars. Please bring a car load of people. Let's pack the theater. Chuck, Rosie, and Phoenix, thank you for supporting the Rising Stars of Equestrian Therapy program.
