💗Part 10 with Kelly Hu: “It Feels Like a Spa, Not a Hospital” — on Rethinking Breast Screening

When it comes to women’s health, how we screen matters as much as what we screen for. shared how Eve Wellness feels nothing like a hospital — “It feels like a spa. You put on a warm robe, it’s relaxing, you feel cared for.” ✨

No painful compression. No radiation. Just a safe, comfortable breast screening powered by AI that captures 2,000 images — not 4 — helping catch what humans might miss.

When women feel at ease, they show up. Because screening shouldn’t be something we dread — it should be something we deserve. 💕

🎀 Part 9 with Kelly Hu: Let’s Normalize the Conversation
It’s time we make breast cancer less taboo. 💬
In this clip, shares why everyone — women and men — needs to be part of the conversation around breast health. Too often, we keep these topics quiet, but awareness starts when we talk about it openly and without fear.

Men, this includes you. Fathers, brothers, partners — you play such an important role. Be her biggest supporter, just like her bestie. Ask questions, encourage screenings, and show up.

🎀 When we normalize these conversations, we break stigma, encourage early detection, and ultimately save lives.

Let’s talk about it — because silence has no place in women’s health.

🌸 Part 8 with Kelly Hu: Why Asian Women Need More Than a Mammogram

Asian women need to know this our risk for breast cancer is not lower. In fact, about 80% of Asian women have dense breast tissue, which makes it harder for mammograms to see what’s really there.

For some reason, there’s still this misconception that we don’t get breast cancer that because we have smaller breasts or dense tissue, we’re somehow protected. That is simply not true.

My mother had breast cancer. I’ve seen firsthand how dangerous that false sense of security can be.

We need to talk about this more openly in our families, in our communities and we need to start asking for more than just a mammogram. Ultrasound should be part of our routine screening, automatically.

At Eve Wellness, I found a place that understands this reality where 3D Ultrasound and AI give women with dense tissue the clarity we deserve.

“This is about awareness, but it’s also about action. Because if 80% of us have dense tissue then 80% of us need to be screened differently.”

Part 7 with Kelly Hu: After 18 years of mammograms, Kelly Hu knows the routine well but she’s also seen the limits.

One of her close friends was diagnosed with breast cancer that her mammogram missed because of dense breast tissue.

Mammograms are important, but they don’t always show the full picture especially for women with dense breast tissue (that’s nearly 1 in 2 women).

That’s why 3D Ultrasound with AI is such a breakthrough.

It sees through dense tissue safely, clearly, and without radiation or compression.

🌸Part 6 with Kelly Hu: 40 Years of Screening Mammograms, Knowing I have Dense Breast Tissue…Still Told ‘We’ll Decide’ on the Ultrasound 😤

“I told her immediately, ‘I need an ultrasound also. I know that I have extremely dense breast tissue because I’ve been having mammograms since I was 18 years old.’ And she said, ‘Well, I’m not going to recommend that for you. We have to wait until you get your mammogram, and then the radiologist will decide.’

After 40 years of mammograms and knowing I am extremely dense, an ultrasound should have been immediately offered. When my results came back, it confirmed what I already knew but it didn’t recommend the screening that could make a difference.

Women shouldn’t have to fight for the screenings they need. Awareness, advocacy, and access to supplemental screening are critical—especially for those with dense breast tissue.”

💔 Part 5 with Kelly Hu: What Mammograms Can Miss - Especially with Dense Breast Tissue

“Mammograms miss so much. My friend Candy did them every year—but they missed her cancer. She passed away.” – Kelly Hu

Dense breast tissue can be a risk factor that can hide cancers on traditional mammograms. That’s why advanced screening with 3D ultrasound and AI detection is critical for early detection, especially for women with dense tissue.

Don’t let dense tissue put you at risk. Early detection saves lives.

💗 Eve Supporting Our Friends

This morning, our Co-Founder joined Lisa Malia Norman, founder of , for the launch of the Clear Pathways Program bringing awareness to dense breast tissue and the need for better screening beyond the mammogram.

💬 Take a listen an important message for all women.

💕 Part 3 with Kelly Hu: Life Imitating Art
“I’d been getting mammograms since I was 18. And for the very first time, I had an irregular one just as I took on a role playing a woman with breast cancer.” —

While preparing for her role in Lifetime’s “List of a Lifetime” alongside Shannen Doherty, Kelly Hu experienced a moment that blurred the line between acting and reality. As she read the script about a woman facing breast cancer, Kelly was simultaneously facing her own irregular screening result.

It was a powerful reminder that the stories we tell on screen often reflect the very real challenges women face every day. For Kelly, this wasn’t just a role it became a call to action to keep spreading awareness about early detection and accessible screening options.

At Eve Wellness, we share that mission. Like Kelly, we believe in empowering women to take charge of their health through education, awareness, and advanced technology because every story, and every woman, deserves a lifetime of wellness. 💗

Back with Kelly Hu Part 2 – Mom’s Surgery

How would you react hearing those words at just 8 years old? At such an impressionable age, they’re difficult to process but for Kelly, they became the spark that turned her into a fighter, determined to bring awareness to all of us about breast cancer. 💗

Her mom’s cancer journey pushed her to start screening at a young age. That’s why places like are so important offering options like advanced ultrasound screening for women under 40, so the next generation doesn’t have to face those same obstacles.

🌸 Part 1: Kelly Hu on Why Early Detection Matters 🌸

We were honored to sit down with actress and advocate to talk about why breast cancer screening is so close to her heart. Kelly’s passion for early detection is deeply personal — her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and that experience changed how Kelly thought about her own health and the power of catching cancer early.

“Watching my mom go through that journey taught me how critical early detection is. It’s not something to put off — it’s something we can do to protect ourselves.”

At Eve Wellness, we believe every woman deserves access to the most advanced screening tools — including AI-powered 3D ultrasound that can detect cancers even in dense breast tissue and at any age. Kelly’s story is a powerful reminder that screening isn’t just for after 40 — it’s about knowing your body and taking action sooner.
