✨ Day 8 of 2025! 🎉
Officially, a full week into the new year—how are your resolutions holding up so far?

Did you know that only 1% of those who make resolutions are still sticking to it 12 months in? 😱 (Source: Forbes Health, 2024)

It’s no surprise—creating lasting habits or making meaningful lifestyle changes can feel overwhelming, especially when life throws its inevitable curveballs. But don’t worry, we’re here to help! 💪

Here are 4 psychology-backed tips to keep you motivated and turn your resolutions into lasting habits this year:

✨ Compassion and patience are your best companions on this year-long journey. ✨
There will be moments when the path feels tough, uncertain, or even daunting. But remember: every small step you take brings you closer to the person you’re striving to become. Each effort builds resilience and paves the way for meaningful, lasting change.

✨ Know Your Why ✨
Motivation runs deeper when it comes from within. Take a moment to ask yourself: Why does this resolution matter to me? How does it align with who you are or who you want to become? Knowing your “why” not only keeps you motivated but also strengthens your self-concept and reinforces your values. 🌟

🌱 Surround Yourself with a Supportive Ecosystem 🌱
Just as rivers shape the land, we’re shaped by our habits, beliefs, and the communities around us. Surround yourself with people who share your values and can validate and support your journey. Together, you can create a ripple effect of happiness, socio-emotional well-being, and belonging. 💞

🎉 Enjoy the Journey 🎉
The destination matters, but so does the road you take to get there. Celebrate the little wins and cherish the lessons along the way. There’s magic in your consistent effort, intentionality, and presence—don’t forget to enjoy it! ✨

🌟 Happy 2025! 🌟
Here’s to a year of growth, resilience, and holistic abundance. May this year bring you health, joy, and fulfillment in every step of your journey as you become the best version of yourself! ✨💫

🍂Lean into mindfulness this fall—it’s simpler than you might imagine! 💫

Mindfulness is all about being present in the here-and-now, without judgment, to simply exist and enjoy the experience of being alive. While that might sound like a lofty ideal, it can be quite simple to incorporate mindfulness practices into your everyday routines!

Whether you’re intentionally walking in nature 🍃, reflecting, visualizing, journaling, crafting 🌟, or simply slowing down to observe and check-in with yourself 👀, there are many ways to connect with your body, senses, mind, and local environment.

💫 Here are some of our favorite small practices that have been proven to make a big difference:

🐢 Slow down and observe the world around you

💭 Identify your thoughts and emotions to help you tune into yourself

💬 Reflect on your day to help process and organize your world

👁️ Activate your five senses to get back into your body and the present moment

🌱 Engage with nature to activate its natural benefits and connect to your environment

✨ Set intentions to maintain alignment and presence

✨ Understanding mental health starts with having robust, shared vocabulary, which is more than simply knowing definitions. Having shared terminology and understanding is a powerful tool for self-awareness and connection 🫶🏼

🗣️ When we can accurately name our feelings and experiences, we gain a deeper understanding of what’s happening for us and can better articulate our needs. This clarity benefits us and helps those around us provide better support and connection—especially if they use similar mental health vocabulary 😌

👀 By building and modeling our skills in noticing, identifying, and verbalizing mental health terms, tools, and needs, we create a foundation for better communication, stronger relationships, and a healthier mind 🧠

How are you embracing the language of mental health? 🌱
