Rewatching her TedTalk in 2017. This changed my understanding of emotions. The emotions are not hardwired and rather "predictions" based on our past experiences. If we are aware of what triggers unhelpful emotions, we can manage how we react to them. It’s a lifelong skill we can learn. Yoga therapy can help with this.
