📣 Attention Golden Gate Doula Associates members and non-members: there are 2 super fun holiday events coming up that are not to be missed!

1. Pictures with 🎅

- When: Sunday, December 7th
- Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Cost: $10 for GGDA members, $15 for non-GGDA members (Cash or Venmo Only)
- Where: Golden Gate Doula Office, 1499 Sutter St. (Lobby), San Francisco
- Sign Up: You can sign up and receive reminders HERE. (https://calendly.com/goldengatedoula-info/pictures-with-santa) You don't have to sign up in advance, walk-ins are okay as well.

**Note: this is a fantastic event for children who get overwhelmed/overstimulated with larger crowds or mall situations, and/or who may be scared of Santa and need a slow warmup. It’s a very relaxed and sweet event every year
** all ages welcome.

2. Gift Wrapping 🎁

Let GGDA be your holiday elves! Drop off your gifts, and they’ll will wrap them for you! There’s a wide variety of wrapping paper options (not just Christmas).

- When: Sunday, December 7th - Monday, December 15th
(Drop off/pick up is not available on Saturday, December 13th)
- Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Cost: Starting at $5 per gift (price determined by item size)
- Where: Golden Gate Doula Office, 1499 Sutter St. (Lobby), San Francisco

Parents/caregivers take note: a new recall has been issued for byheart baby formula. Please read the below update and if you have the affected formulas, please discontinue use immediately.

Thirteen babies have been hospitalized with the illness, which can be fatal, federal heath officials said. No deaths have been reported.

Pets Welcome!

While not every doula is comfortable with working in a house with pets or with providing pet care, I am. Of course, my top priority is always baby and parents, but as far as I’m concerned, pets are fully part of the family!

And no, it’s not just relegated to cats and dogs…a few years ago my client Stephanie, had a pet turtle. That was definitely a first, but hopefully not the last! 🐢
